There are very narrow roads in certain towns, especially in Portugal, where it is really difficult to make turns with a large car. If will be a feature that will allow to define the type of car and the application will define a route accordingly, even if it is longer, the driving experience will be much more pleasant.

In many urban areas (Including on the Freeways and Interstates) and in some suburb/rural residential areas, Tractor trailers are prohibited from roads or certain lanes of Freeways and Interstates, either for bridge weight restrictions or to try and keep local commuter traffic moving. The truck drivers need to have a warning that they will be entering or are leaving a Truck Restricted area, for the sake of the commuting public’s safety.

Not to mention raised railroad crossings where low flatbed tractor-trailers will get caught needs to be available for truck drivers!

While I understand why Waze wouldn't want to create a "large vehicle" routing option, could the service at least add an alert for low clearances, similar to the alert for railroad crossings?

In Australia trucks speed limit is 100km/ph .. would it be possible to add a setting in the future to set speed limit to 100kmph there are specific speed cameras that monitor truck speeds and the fines are very expensive..

Actuellement en vacances en camping car, Waze nous a mis dans des galères pas possibles ! Google Map beaucoup plus performant pour ça, indique les endroits pouvant être compliqués.

Debería dejar la opción de poner más tipos de vehículos que tienen restricciones de velocidad específica, camiones , furgonetas, etc.. para q los avisos de radar les funcionen

Waze es super bien fait si vous faites Waze poids lourd sa serait bien l'appli serait vite mise a jour par la communauté vu tous les chaffeurs qui l'utilise

We would love to see a setting for RVs. There are places, such as the New York Parkway, that prohibit RVs. But you don't know that til you're there! And many roads are far too narrow to use. With the huge influx of RVers due to the Covid concern, we need s tool to help us safely navigate.

Waze should consider RV and Truck navigation to account for height, width, length, weight, and turning restrictions, if possible. Following Waze directions in a large vehicle has sent me onto roads that are unsuitable and possibly dangerous.

This is a safety issue for all drivers and Waze should help drivers avoid routes that are not RV and truck friendly.

It would greatly help Waze users avoid using parkways when renting box trucks for moving purposes. Just like we now have the option to change from private driver to taxi, motorcycle or electric cars.

I tow a caravan and need to set the speed to lower then stated.
This dramatically affects my arrival time and calculation when travelling.

HGVs and LGVs have differing speed restrictions and only being able to follow the speed limit of cars can lead to possible financial and legal consequences.
Please could we have an option to select these vehicle types and change the speed limits accordingly as well as other aids for example restrictions for these vehicles, including height and weight restrictions.
This will inevitably help the commercial market adopt Waze as well as aiding the consumer market who use similar vehicles.

I am definitely a fan of Waze! However, I drive a camper and it would be nice to be able to adjust the program to the volume and weight of your vehicle, so that we can be guided along the roads intended for it. Sometimes I am sent through centres or small roads, which are not at all accessible for this type of vehicle. I am looking forward to such an update ! Thank you , Ghislain
