It would be nice to have an option to navigate truck routes when needed but then shut it off for when I'm in my car.

An article just came out on cnn.com describing how UPS trucks almost never make left turns in order to improve gas efficiency, reduce accidents, and speed up driving times. Perhaps Waze might consider altering its algorithms?

"UPS trucks almost never take left-hand turns.

By favoring right-hand turns at all times -- unless a left is unavoidable -- the carrier saves millions of gallons of fuel each year, and avoids emissions equivalent to over 20,000 passenger cars.
The practice started decades ago, before computers and GPS, and is now managed by a software that conjures the most efficient route for each truck."

add truck load limits. neighbors and cities are frustrated with overweight trucks whose drivers say they were directed on a route with posted weight limits. Dangerous, expensive on the road infrastructure, as well as annoying.

I drive a semi truck. I would love it if this app had Semi Truck routes.

Have a Commercial vehicle option (where you can select size of vehicle, or even make and model) and then we could avoid width restrictions or commercial vehicle exclusions such as the Royal Parks in London.

There are roads in which trucks are required to drive at a lower speed limit. Turning Truck mode on would display the truck speed limits.

Would be lovely, would give correct eta and actualy speed up travel by selecting shorter roads but that normally has lower average speed.
Would help truckers, rv and hypermilers.

I'd like the ability to select which car I'm driving and have settings defined for each car. For example: In one car, I have a toll sticker, so I prefer to take the toll routes and the fastest way to my destination. My other car is electric, and I'd like to take the shortest route and avoid tolls. In my wife's car I would like avoid tolls, fastest route, dirt roads OK.

There are some routes that would not work for a Motorhome. I almost caused a traffic disaster in Chicago because the route took me to a neighborhood that had low overhead bridge. I had to stop in the middle of the traffic and let my husband check to make sure I was clear to drive through, and I was ..barely an inch clear. If I had known (never been there before) I would have taken a different route. Can this be done, like asking are you using a car/truck or are you using Semi truck, or are you driving a motorhome/RV?
