I agree. Waze too me though a residential neighborhood while pulling my 33' travel trailer. Tight turns and narrow streets made it a challenge.

I drive a HGV in the UK and I think Waze is missing a trick here if you introduced a Truckers vehicle attribute's feature which includes height, length and weight and allowed users to identify roads with height, weight, width restrictions also gradient, susceptibility to side wind and suitability for HGV's etc the user community would collate the data for you in no time. You would then be able to sell the data to other interested parties!

Routing & Rerouting would would just have to use an algorithm which takes these factors into account I don't see it as something which would be difficult to achieve just write the script!

Be able to eliminate certain types of roads, residential, nonpaved, country roads verses highways.

I agree that being able to enter a max speed would be very helpful for those of us pulling trailers!

I love waze and use it everyday but as a coach driver I can't use it for my job. With a truck and coach option it would be a wonderful tool for us with weight and height restrictions. There could be a community of truck drivers and coach drivers and even taxi drivers in waze community. These communities could have a badge to recognize them and they could communicate and give advice to other drivers of the same community. Waze could be a very useful tool for professionals to use.

Add an additional route to make RV's liFe easier. WE all use Waze, but NOT if it takes on windy roads, ferries, unnecessary steep passes, Etc

Hi i would like to suggest an implementation for your app. You should add the parameter "my maximum speed". For example if my maximum speed is 80 kmh the choose of the best path could be different.

Add a commercial truck route feature so that truck drivers know the height restrictions to avoid roads with low bridges, overpasses, etc.

For those times you are pulling a non-commercial trailer

I'm driving a coach, and would like information about overpasses. maybe adding length, with, height, weight etc to the vehicle. Then it would be the perfect work tool
