Make drivers sign into either Waze's car app or truck app at the start of their journey depending on what vehicle they are driving. This will force drivers to pick the correct app and keep truck drivers away from No Thru Truck zones. The No Thru Truck streets are narrow substandard streets with no sidewalks and are not made for trucks or non-residential traffic, that is general car traffic of people who do not live on the street. Not only are truck drivers using their cell phones with Waze or other car apps, there are no laws in place to enforce that truck drivers must use trucking apps only. Our substandard residential streets are getting thousands of trucks and cars and this is dangerous. One homeowner was recently hit and lost hit home to pay for medical bills. So the solution is for drivers to just log in or sign into the correct type of GPS App - either truck or car.

Witam jestem użytkownikiem WAZE od 3 lat.

Jeżdżę różnymi autami z różnymi prędkościami .

Problem WAZE jest taki iż zawsze niemal proponuje najszybszą drogę np: 140km/h cy 120km/h

Często jadę z prędkością ECO 80km/h np: dostawczym autkiem.

Jadąc na tzw. skróty głównymi drogami stałą trasą oszczędzam 20km i jestem szybciej niż by mnie poprowadziła nawigacja.(oczywiście jadąc 140km/h byłbym szybciej lecz nawigacja nie wie że chcę jechać wolniej)

Rozwiązaniem byłoby wprowadzenie opcji nastawy maksymalnej prędkości pojazdu z jaką ktoś chce się poruszać i wg. tej nastawy dopiero automatycznie powinny dobierane być drogi. Z pewnością przełoży się to także na ochronę środowiska.

Please plz plz we need waze for trucks

It must be done, I've got a ticket because of it and I couldn't avoid it because of roadworks. Please add an option to avoid the tunnel. Thanks.

But a lot of users are truck drivers and there is a high demand for the app to personalise for trucks

it would be nice if you had an "RV" feature- for low bridges, bridge weight or other restrictions that may be for people with RV's..

is it possible to place an alert on waze telling truck and bus drivers we have size restrictions in our area? I live in the French Quarter in New Orleans and once again had to forcefully explain to a truck driver that he could not make turns with 53 foot tractor trailer without damage buildings and knocking down light poles. As to be expected the driver play ed dumb and claimed the police officer with sirens on behind him was his escort when she was actually trying to stop him

As a truck driver on France as well as thousands other truck drivers, I use Waze on a daily basis

Agree that low clearance is needed. I currently use WAZE for basic travel but have to check other apps such as rvparky to ck for low bridges for my RV. I keep looking for an alternative. Hammer by Trucker Report may help.

I own multiple vehicles one of them is commercial, if waze had the option to choose between personal and commercial and have the maps adjusted accordingly waze would definitely be the number one app on my phone

Waze is a great tool,I really appreciate it.
With that said, you really need to have to have a commercial vehicle version.
It has the potential to save time, fuel, and help make the roads safer.

Currently only fossil fuel cars are listed.
By adding alternative energy vehicles it will be better to navigate in cities with:

- emission constraints
- special (e-line) access for electric cars
- add location of e-charging stations
