Hi im jake from the Philippines and I have a steel business. We use waze on our trucks. Add TRUCK BAN routes in the Philippines. We are following a truck ban window here in the PH to prevent traffic. Our truck can travel from 9am to 5pm and 9m til 5am only. There are certain routes that does not allow trucks to pass thru. Trucks that has a gross weight of 4.8 tons are under truck ban.

Some highways only allow passenger/SUV vehicles and not with a trailer.

Please add an option (it could even be a paid add-on) that allows owners of Recreational Vehicles (RV's) to enter in their vehicle height, width and weight to avoid low bridges and tight lanes. May GPS' have this option, but Waze has better routing and traffic reports than they do. You could even make two options, one for RVs and aother for large trucks

We need commercial (as in no parkways) navigation on Waze. I keep getting steered to parkways which makes me sometimes backtrack

Some countries (i.e. Norway) has all data available for free from the government that tells all restrictions on width, height, length and weight. This could increase the userbase drastically as it would be an alternative to truck GPSs

Please add a pickup truck to Waze vehicle option. They're is currently only a big rig semi truck option for trucks

J’utilise waze depuis 3 ans avec a voiture. Depuis un mois, je circule aussi en camping-car. Les vitesses de circulation sont différentes. Il faudrait la possibilité de choisir le type de véhicule (auto, moto, poids lourd, camping-car, etc.…) que l’on utilise afin de ne pas fausser les vitesses moyennes prise en compte par le logiciel. As a truck driver with experience of 35 years,
I have an idea it is most urgently needed in the Dan region, especially in Tel Aviv.
As you know there are certain streets are narrow, and there are streets where parking is on both sides so that a truck can barely get if at all, and if the driver is not familiar with and decided to go find himself later tangle, and hence to crushing parked cars sights a short way.
Therefore, there is an urgent need to alert the thousands of drivers and map out the narrow streets, and while heading shops on both sides of the road make it difficult for the entry of trucks.
Measure the distance between the parked cars on both sides of the road, raise Wiz, let us not forget that small trucks, medium and large.
The most urgent need is of mutual interest truck drivers, vendors, shops, insurance companies, and minimize the damage of breaking mirrors, expulsion at best and the worst even damage control over the vehicle.
And was and you do it in Tel Aviv, I am confident that you will bring relief and income, especially for drivers who each day is becoming difficult day, nervous, this will make the flow of traffic and business, and fewer insurance claims.

Costs, methods of mapping, and profit, I leave your brains.

Not only does Waze need to get a truckers route but also tell if the Weigh Stations are open or closed. It would also help to know where all the truck stops were and the name of them to fuel up and get points on their fuel cards & showers.

A way of warning other waze users of heights of bridges or width of restrictions as here in the UK we have so many tiny roads. I've been sent towards so many 6ft 6inch width restrictions and when your driving a lorry this is not a good thing, don't get me wrong I think Waze is excellent but I'm getting frustrated that it assumes I'm in a car all the time. So a facility to input the correct size manually (because they all differ) would help so many. Best to remember commercial drivers are the drivers that travel around the most and input the most hazard's keeping everyone informed and up to date. Thanks for reading please vote in favor it would be in everyone's best interest.

The ability to select the size and weight of vehicle you are driving if bigger than a car.
add onto the map weight, height and width restrictions on roads, and then once you input weight/dimensions of vehicle you are driving, the navigation can plot a route to avoid any such restrictions.
handy for truck/bus drivers, as well as those with vans/motorhomes/caravans/trailers or any other oversized vehicle.

Another handy addon would be to include parking areas, including truck stops.
as large vehicle drivers in some countries like the UK have driving hour restrictions, the ability to plan ahead for when you need to take a legal break would be really helpful.
i drive a particular road which has 135+ layby parking areas which i need to use for my rest.
Sometimes these are full, and it would be handy of i can look ahead to see where the next layby is for my break, enabling me to plan my drive better.

Add features like this, and you will encourage in the trucking comminity who would no doubt find the features very handy and would be a big contributer to keeping latest road reports up to date.

Please add this! I use wake every day and drive 400+ miles. I would pay extra for this feature

I use every time waze software on my phone. all are perfect, exept the fact it miss the possibility to indicate the size of our motorhome. do you expect to provide soon a new softaware version.
