Wish waze had this feature

A caravan towing option would be amazing!

Please add a TOTAL VEHICLE LENGTH option/specification into the app. Rand McNally allows you to input this info so you can avoid dangerous or impossible roads. WAZE could start with a 5-foot range & increasing increments (i.e., my vehicle is 25-30 feet total). This would greatly help Distribution & RVs/Trucks/Trailers/Haulers/5th wheelers and Class A, B & Cs. There are multi millions of us that want WAZEś help!

I totally agree. I have been caught out several times and it has cost me as I was not able to get out of that lane.

PLASE PLEASE add the option for a VAN to facilitate the ability to route you away from NON VAN friendly routes

I was born and have lived in Texas my whole life and I and many others think you need a Truck in the Vehicle icons. The truck you have is like some kind stretch expansion thing. You have like 5 cars of different colors, a race car? an SUV, bus, motorbike (which needs to changed to motorcycle, BTW) an arrow and two things I don’t even know what they are, a crew rider, and camper de la Bubebez ( not sure of spelling) but not one real ltruck no Ford, not a Dodge or GMC or Chevy. We are the 2nd largest State in the US please give us a truck! Oh, can we please get a male Texan voice for guidance I am beginning think you might be a little prejudiced. 😳 Thanks Ya’ll

Please provide the ability to input the dimensions/weight of a caravan/motorhome to enable routes to be suggested that recognise the vehicle characteristics.

Please add bridge heights for truckers

When travelling with just the car I use waze which is certainly a great product, however when hitched with the caravan it would be great to enter the size of the car and caravan allowing the software to determine the best route, even if it's a paid option. Considering the amount of individuals in Australia who are travelling with caravans it certainly is worth the consideration.

Most Waze users drive "normal cars / trucks" we occasionally pull a travel trailer and there are restrictions due to height / length that make some routes impassible. The same must be true for hauling vehicles / Motorized RV's. Enabling height / length to be input as a category prior to selecting route would be most helpful - obviously route corrections / traffic changes would need to maintain this original data! Also for those unfamiliar with certain areas there should be an option to chose a non-Toll route!

any chance of adding an adjustable speed setting for when I’m not able to travel to the set speed limit assumed by the app to get a more accurate toa i.e calculated toa set if travelling @55mph instead of 70mph on a motorway?

The UK is infested with 6'6" width restrictions (1981mm). Modern cars and most electric vehicles are too wide too wide to navigate them. As a result, Waze is useless to drivers of such a vehicle in the UK and most especially in London. As many previous suggestions have noted. it would be easy to add this data to Waze and then allow the user to enter their vehicle width so that they are not routed through these width restrictions.

To illustrate that this is a problem, the following non-exhaustive list shows several modern vehicles and their widths, along with a clearance on either side of the wheel should the driver negotiate the channel perfectly in the centre. As you can see, getting through them is flatly impossible for some and just a question of luck for most.

And Waze will guaranteed route your car through one of these during a trip through London. Probably more than once.
