The vehicle types are restricted to cars, motorbikes. For all of these the speed limit is as displayed. Vans (excluding Car Derived Vans) are restricted to 50mph on single carriageways, and 60mph on dual carriageways, but still 70mph on motorways.

Police speed cameras now have NPR and are allocating the different speed limits to the Reg No. Vans travelling at 70mph on dual carriageways are being penalised for exceeding the 60mph limit applicable to them.

Adding Vans to the Vehicle types and displaying the correct speed limit (and alarm) for that vehicle type would prevent van drivers exceeding the speed limit applicable to them.

Please add a option to have a caravan towing and also a van option as. It’s are misssing and your app send you in to places where the vehicle can’t be

hello I just noticed that we cannot put a limited speed I am young allowed the speed for me on the highway is limited to 110 kilometers per hour is not 130 which poses a problem when calculating routes

The ability to choose weight and width of a commercial vehicle would be fantastic, and then to get appropriate routes for the size of vehicle. I would happily pay extra for this option as I would save time and get less fines. For a car this is by far the best app. Thanks.

Add Van speed option to choose your vehicle as van cause speed is different or single double carriageway, and now new speed camera's recognise vans so if you'd rive 60 on single carriageway you get ticket because Van speed limit is 50 🙈on single carriageway

How I wish Waze would add van options! I drive a hired van for work a couple of times a month and would love to be able to rely on Waze to get me to site, but it’s a big problem when it tries to send me via width restrictions & low bridges!!

Add a setting to adjust the average rate of speed you intend to travel. This would be extremely useful for those pulling a trailer or driving a large truck. Required speed limits are different for these vehicles in CA.

I agree with this 100%. As the new owner of a large Fifth Wheel, I want to continue to use Waze on our RV trips, however, if these upgrades are not made, I will have to start using one of the RV specific Apps. Waze can alert us to RR crossings, Red Light cameras and Toll Roads, PLEASE add at least low clearance bridges!

Good idea. I find the arrival times are not realistic and seem to be too optimistic. The only way that I can arrive on time, based on the arrival time reported when starting, is to drive nearly 20% over the speed limit for the hour trip to work - when there are no traffic slowdowns. It seemed that for a week or two it was actually reporting much more accurate, but this morning not so much. Maybe this is related to Waze not accounting for turns and not accelerating to posted speed limit instantly. The arrival time probably should be based on some % of the posted speed limit, say 90%.

O waze deveria ter um esquema de informar os veiculos de grande porte para nao acessarem ruas que nao os comportam estou com este problema com caminhoes enganchados em minha porta sem conseguir ir para frente ou para tras. o proprio usuario da rua poderia marcar rua estreita.

Many road especially in the North East have height restrictions. RV are up to (Some over) 13.5 ft high. A warning or routing option would be helpful, as well as a vehicle type such as RV or Big Rig, would allow users to select the vehicle type and avoid Low Overpasses, Bridges and tunnels. We could also automatically avoid tunnels, as most restrict Propane to be carried through tunnels.
