Please, give us an option for caravan, camping-car and big véhicule, to have large and cool road !!!!
I have a big old caravan, ad sometimes, road are not ridding easy with it.
It's possible to have an option like motorway or not, for ridding cool and secure with big and large truck, caravan or camping-car?
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Add in viehicle type car + towing ( such as caravan)
So we can avoid roads that’s not suitable or bridges…. -

We sometimes tow a 30ft rv that is 12' tall. So we have to be careful not to go down roads that have too tight of turns, too low of bridges and even hazards like too steep of roads.
It would be great for waze to have a feature similar to "avoid toll roads" but have it for "towing RV" and it would automatically avoid roads that rva and large trucks couldn't go down.

It's important for Traveling in a L3H3 van. Definitly when you don't know the roads. Please add this option. I made the Same request for Google maps

I miss the truck type of car, which could have option to set the size of the vehicle. So to avoid possible obstacles like small bridge just for passanger car or low passage below other bridge.

By ignoring heavy drivers, you are missing out on a big market and reporting options

I drive more than one vehicle. When I pull my RV, I drive slower than the maximum allowed speed (example: 60-65 MPH max instead of the highways’ max speed limits). Would be great if you could enter your maximum speed into waze in order to adjust your ETA only when driving a slower vehicle.

It would be helpful for truck drivers using the Waze app to be alerted that a particular road is prohibited for commercial truck traffic. Trucks are using roads in the City of Grand Prairie that are not designed for heavy traffic and are marked with signage that commercial trucks are not allowed. When officers approach truck drivers regarding violating the signage, the drivers are often unaware that their GPS navigation is leading them onto prohibited roads. This is obviously a problem not only in the City of Grand Prairie but other places as well. Thank you for reviewing this feedback to and considering a solution to help ensure that prohibited roads are not included in route suggestions for commercial vehicles within the Waze app.

Weigh stations

Dear Waze,
I would like to thank you for your app. I drive a midsize box truck for work. We are monitored for speed, acceleration, and braking. I was getting a lot of hits, 40 per week, and was coached.
I started using your app and having it beep at the speed limit. I have had weeks with zero hits and a max of two events after starting to use your app.
I would like to ask if you could add in
Avoid tolls, as I am directed to avoid toll roads, and often get routes along toll route,
This is my big ask….Please add in larger vehicles and make a weigh station ahead as if I over look one I would get a big ticket. They tend to blend in as I drive watching the road and going with the flow , now till I get a ding warning of speeding.
Your app has been a God send to me!!
Please think about my request
Thank you!

Possibility to choose a truck in the form of a vehicle. Since for trucks, unlike private transport, there are restrictions:
Temporary travel ban, for example highway number 1 or Ayalon.
Turning or turning is prohibited.
Limitation of entry by vehicle weight.
As well as limiting the height of transport, such as bridges and parking lots.
As well as more intermediate stops in trip planning.

Please add map routes for small vans within the M25. Small vans are not allowed to access the Rotherhithe tunnel or any of the Royal parks within the London area. The current private and taxi icons do not recognise these restrictions.

As they expand build out commercial spaces near residential homes, we’ve been getting more lost truckers driving through unsafe streets that they shouldn’t be. It’s becoming a problem since a lot of them are getting close to cars, houses, power lines and children playing. Speed limits in these areas is often times below 20mph.
Waze and other gps apps should provide a filter that would only show truck safe routes so that truckers can safely navigate to their destination knowing they would only be driving on truck safe roads.

This could be set up to avoid low structures such as bridges that our units will not fit under.

In Germany I see relatively many truckers because they are happy about the traffic jam function and other traffic data. But also since I map factories that are not in the other map services can approach the destinations better. Mostly waze runs with another navigation app along with.

Waze needs an RV routing system! Many bridges are lower than the needed 10' to pass through, & we have a very small Winnebago! The other RVers have much taller units

Driving-school cars should have a special icon. They drive a lot on the roads and student drivers are someone you'd might want to be awere of as soon as possible.
The same goes for large semi-trucks -

There are Van restrictions for the Parks like Richmond Park. Got to drive for a while before it stops trying to reroute me back to the same gate I'm not allowed to go in.
You could register the number plate for the trip (or default to account) which could then apply restrictions for that type of vehicle. This could also be used for ULEZ and Congestion charge exemptions. I have on several occasions been forced into the congestion charge zone as every time I meander away from the zone, Waze has directed me back though another section and then I'm charged.

Dears,
Unfortunately
Dears,
Unfortunately was the 6'th accident for big cars like bus or truck when they tryed to cross a passage with 4 m height. Some people was killed. To avoid this type of accident please add a warning for tall vehicle to restrict their passage. In present we cannot select your car as tall vehicle.Thank you!
