Traffic jam Estimated time
"Estimated TIME in Traffic Jam NN-minutes" message should be extended with jam distance, like "Estimated TIME in Traffic Jam 10 minutes in 3 kilometers"

Provide some indicator as to how long it has been since the last waze user has traveled the road you are on. Could be indicated by color change, day on the report button. This would allow you distinguish between lack of reports due to no one traveling the road versus no actual reports

How could Wazers not vote for this........

When getting alerted of a Hazard or Police, etc. It would be usefull to also be able to see when the alert was marked. (without having to tap the Hazard).

When examining the map the absence of waze report does not, by itself, mean the pathway is free of hazards.
Roads should optionally display time the road was last "wazed". To Waze a road is to travel down it as an active wazer. In other words, if a wazer travels 10 miles of highway and sees NO activity, be it hazards, police or otherwise, he/she simply doesn't report anything. However, the next wazer to travel down that roadway would benefit to know that as of Hour:Minute the roadway was traveled by a wazer and nothing was reported. (The latter of which is self evident)
Then the absence of any hazard reports coupled with the date/time the last wazer traveled down that road can be used to calculate the likelihood of a risk. Without the 'last time wazed' information the user can't know if the road is clear or if simply nobody with waze has traveled on it.

I don't think this should be a pop-up (unless it doesn't cover too much of the map) but the idea of shown the time reported somewhere is really good. Knowing that a minor accident was reported two hours ago, for example, is helpful as it's likely to be clear by now.

Public/Community assistance
1. Feature: If I can reach a cell tower and have gps I should be able to post a request for assistance. There are many people (200+) currently unaccounted for in our area if they could push one button select the nature of their emergency and whether they are requesting community assistance or state gov assistance it would plot them on the map and notifyOptional catagories
2. State Gov hazards: States/Fed could easily add road closures, accidents, and other problems that could allow waze to auto redirect people to requested locations via a safe route.
3. Social Hazards: An overlay that would allow people that run into an issue or who passed hazards that are no longer an issue they could post time stamp location, mark a section of road, attach pictures of an issue, and google maps would ask if you would like to route through or around an issue

Would be a great help if waze would have the time the alert was first created show on the alert notification. This way you can decide how real-time this alert really is.

Waze will never get my route to work right. It isn't always about speed or distance. I have 4 different routes I take to work depending on road construction, time of year, and mood. Waze will almost always prefer it's own routes (which may be slightly faster -- but usually more aggravating).
I want to see the Waze reports for estimated time, traffic and other hazards along each of MY favorite routes.
As others suggest, favorite routes could be recorded like the "record new road" feature or saved from the "Drives" via "My Dashboard" on waze.com.
However the routes are created/saved, they would then be grouped together -- either under Favorites or by associating with an address. in the latter case when I navigate to an address that has my own routes associated with it (and am near the starting point or a point along the route?), Waze will show me the times for these alternate routes (and a hazard summary).

It would be great if the waze could warn you of an upcoming traffic jam well in advance-like as soon as the route is mapped. Most of my warnings come a mile or two in advance--too late to re-route

When alerting the driver to a speed trap, accident, hazard, etc. with a popup notification it would be very informative to include the time these were reported or the age of the report (i.e. "Reported 48 minutes ago")
