Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

More warning before turns and include the name of the street you are to turn on.

When directions call for me to turn onto MD-28 (or "MD 28", with or without hyphen), say "Maryland" instead of saying "Em Dee". Similarly for VA -> Virginia, etc.

I don't like the latest turn by turn voice navigator. Her intonation in American English makes it sound like she is always asking me a question. She should sound like she is making a statement. Also, she used to try to pronounce street names. I miss street names.
