Multi-stop route feature
When you want to stop at several points along your route you should have the ability to set multiple destinations

Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

This itinerary planning is a functionality that most stand-alone GPS systems have and one of the only things I miss when using Waze instead of TomTom.
It would be awesome to add related features (including one I've only seen in Microsoft Streets & Trips):
1. Ability to set time ranges on the stops with warnings if there's no way to make the times.
2. Ability to set duration on stops. This will allow for more accurate ETAs, allowing for planned stops.
2. Option to have locations placed in a logical order based on travel (to avoid backtracking). In conjunction with 1 and 2 (above), this would push the stops as needed while still meeting the time range if possible. This is the Streets & Trips feature, and it may not be doable, but if it could be implemented, it would make Waze completely unbeatable. -

I just loaded waze 10 minutes ago and am thinking of trashing it because it can't do this!

a much more detailed suggestion mistakenly marked completed
which seems to have been intended as complimentary to
putting more routing logic in the hand of the waxed

it's not obvious why it was marked completed as that suggestion is __far__ more comprehensive than what waze offers

I think that's what the top rated waypoints idea intends

The ability to enter a starting location, an ending location, points in between and have waze provide the route and order.
For example if I am going on vacation and want to stop at three stores and get gas on my way there...

I also agree, I like site seeing while on route to my holiday destination, instead of just rushing there, but I don't always know which is the best route to take to these multiple destinations.

Please can we have the option to add more than 1 stop between current location and destination.

This would be awesome. I am an Rx Courier and make multiple stops in a trip. Would be great to have Waze calculate the best route everyday. Maybe even save the list as a "Route".

Allow users to enter multiple stops in any order and auto calculate best route. Currently you can only add stops after selecting main route and choose if its near the destination. Ideally you should be able to enter as many locations as you want and waze would just map out the optimal route.

in addition, the multi-stop route should be able to save!

What's important to note here is we are looking for not just one extra stop but rather to add a list of stops then either tell it the order or just tell Waze give me the most efficient way to visit these points.

Definitely need the multi-stop, route optimization feature. I drive a new route almost daily and need to enter a list of addresses and have Waze figure out the rest.

Thanks for adding this feature. I saw it in the video, look forward to its implementation into Android!

and then optimize for shortest time, or shortest distance!!

Only mapquest currently features navigation waypoints.
On a journey from location_A to location_Z one might want to pre-plan gas fill up locations, or additional points of interest. These are waypoints, or places to stop along the way.
Location_A to location_B to location_C ... to location_Z
To accomplish this now in Waze is a bit tedious
location_A to location_B
location_B to location_C
location_C to location_Z
One ought be able to enter all the locations and either specify the order of the waypoints OR allow waze to optimize some- or all of the ordering of waypoints.
To further facilitate waypoints Waze ought consider a feature to re-reoute the traveler based on (upcoming) slow(er) traffic areas. In an unfamiliar area one is likely not capable of determining which side streets (surface streets) are better flowing traffic. -

Like on a TomTom, add POI's and then allow us to navigate to a POI along route. And everything else a tomtom does!

that's called waypoints. I voted for this more detailed idea:
