Multi-stop route feature
When you want to stop at several points along your route you should have the ability to set multiple destinations
Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

Definitely need the multi-stop, route optimization feature. I drive a new route almost daily and need to enter a list of addresses and have Waze figure out the rest.

Thanks for adding this feature. I saw it in the video, look forward to its implementation into Android!

and then optimize for shortest time, or shortest distance!!

Only mapquest currently features navigation waypoints.
On a journey from location_A to location_Z one might want to pre-plan gas fill up locations, or additional points of interest. These are waypoints, or places to stop along the way.
Location_A to location_B to location_C ... to location_Z
To accomplish this now in Waze is a bit tedious
location_A to location_B
location_B to location_C
location_C to location_Z
One ought be able to enter all the locations and either specify the order of the waypoints OR allow waze to optimize some- or all of the ordering of waypoints.
To further facilitate waypoints Waze ought consider a feature to re-reoute the traveler based on (upcoming) slow(er) traffic areas. In an unfamiliar area one is likely not capable of determining which side streets (surface streets) are better flowing traffic. -

Like on a TomTom, add POI's and then allow us to navigate to a POI along route. And everything else a tomtom does!

that's called waypoints. I voted for this more detailed idea:

definitely...because sometimes you drive with some people in your car, what can mean several destinations...like on weekend nights....being a driver sucks, so why not to have at least nice nav. app :)...but not only in this case...when you drive (deploy :P ) your family members to different places during rush hour, waze would (could) be the best (most up-to-date) app.

I'll vote for this...I was going to create a new suggestion, but it would fragment the suggestions if I did that.
With a Nuvi, I was able to insert a waypoint before the destination, say on a trip and something came up, I needed to search for a gas station, rest stop, etc, I was able to retain my original destination information and have a stop in between.
We need more support of this, this is a feature lacking from the client at the moment for sure.
Since the routing feature has expanded the allowed total mileage, it comes in handy for those road trips. Thanks in advance!
