Would love to be able to community network with walking hazards (I.e. rut in path, sidewalk closed, no lights, person stopped on walkway, etc...) for safety same as road hazards delivered for waze drivers.

I agree, I would love it if Waze offered a walking route.

We need the walking mode

I commute to/from the city via train every day, so I may have some calendar events that I will drive to and others that I will walk to. I need more granularity than a global setting to enable/disable "Planned drives reminders" provides.

Pls update Waze with walking mode

Earlier versions had walking and public transit directions. I don’t like it now. Adding those would not clutter things up. If you didn’t want to use them then you don’t have to.

Walking mode would be great if you want to update map in your position. You have plenty of time then for correct URs.

+1 Dzons - Use Google Maps for walking mode. Waze is for real-time traffic that obeys DRIVING rules. Keep it simple and uncluttered from unnecessary features.

Why do you people need walking mode? Waze is for driving. If you need directions whilst walking use google maps.

Walking around Dublin yesterday, Waze directions to location brought us in the direction of one way traffic rather than shortest route. Please consider walking mode button. Thank you for a fantastic app!

In London getting around between Tube Stations can be frustrating havin a walk mode on Waze would be really useful.

I’m using a mobility scooter but waze only seem to do one for the roadways which would take me too long to get from A to B

Would love this option, recently switch from tomtom go to waze, got 2 years of tom tom go free still out in voice desitnations or by store name is something tomtom fails to do, tough tomtomgo got walk mode ect its handy when road to your destination end by car bit continues by foot, specialy in store arears where cars are forbidden. Easy to get lost if your not well known in a city.

Ofc other apps do the job but would be easier of you could use 1 prefered app instead of 50 apps
