J'ai le même problème du coup je peux jamais estimer mes trajets sans le Duplex alors que je veux prendre d'autres routes à péage. 12€ pour les 5km du duplex que je dois faire ça me fait un peu *****

This so much. I currently drive a compact beater because my nicer car got run over by a dump truck, and I don't feel safe driving over 45 mph. But there is one road that it always puts me on that runs 50 mph for several miles and has absolutely stupid drivers doing 70 the whole way. And if I go on a side street, it yells at me to take the faster route even though I just want a safer route.

I always get stuck at this elementary school for 10-15 minutes while they stop traffic to let everyone cross. my issue is that they make you sit there while they bring the kids across, sit there and talk to the teacher for a few minutes, and then we have to wait for the parents to come back across too. :O

I want to blacklist a road (very expensive highway which is easy to bypass) but I can't. And on my road there are 2 other paying highways that are very fast and cheap, so I can't select the option to avoid paying highways. When we click on a road, we should be able to add it to a blacklist.

Every day I have to ignore the (only) route Waze suggests out of 3 similar ones for my commute to work. It ALWAYS sends me on one specific road, which I hate driving, unless the traffic backup is 10+ minutes longer than the other two routes, then it might offer me the alternatives.

I would love to be able to add a weight/penalty to the dreaded road where I could specify some number of minutes where the hated route wouldn't even show unless it was 15 minutes faster than all alternatives, or something like that. You wouldn't really have to change the routing algorithm, just let me add a penalty to any road I don't like driving on.

Completely agree - this should be a high-priority feature. In my case, Waze always routes me through a road which then T's into a high-volume, high-speed road with no traffic light. It is almost impossible, and very dangerous, to make a left turn onto this road. Desperately need a way to tell Waze to not use this road!

I would love this feature so that I can avoid the M25 in the evening. Waze looks at the traffic level at 5pm thinking the M25 might be a good option but when you get there (along with 100K other people who have also just left work) there is a long go slow.

English: I think that would be quite difficult for Waze to rank streets according to a dangerous level rating, so in my opinion Waze should at least allow users to block some streets that they do not want to be routed across them. For example, I live near a favela, so a lot of times Waze configures my route passing passing through favela narrow streets. I know the place, so I would like to block these streets (only for my profile) based on my own experience. This would be very helpful...

Tomtom has a thing called avoid part of route. It has a list of the roads like it shows in the directions menu and you click whichever one you want to avoid. It’s pretty simple

Waze should create and option that will let you avoid a road a long Your route. So you can choose any portion of your route that you would like to avoid. Or a specific portion of a road along your route.

Another use case: on my commute, there are three separate tolls I can take along one route. I'm fine with the first two tolls, as they're a fixed price less than $5. The third is a variable rate that often costs upwards of $25 each way. I prefer to take the first two toll roads, then hop off the highway and take the back roads the rest of the way there. The extra 15 minute drive is worth saving $25 to me.

I pull a trailer and many roads restrict access to vehicles with trailers (eg. Palisades Parkway, in New York.). How do you route around roads you'd rather not use?

Il serait bien de rajouter dans les paramètres la possibilité de désactiver une route en particulier.
Je m'explique, j'habite à coté du duplex, le tunnel de l'A86 qui est payant. Du coup à chaque fois, pour une utilisation quotidienne, waze me propose de passer par ce tunnel même si les autres routes sont fluide. Je suis donc obligé de désactiver les routes à péages dans les paramètres. Problème : quand je veux faire un long trajet, il faut que je repense à réactiver cette fonctionnalité pour que waze me repropose les autoroutes payants.

We were on a route stuck behind an accident. Waze presented no way to re-routr around it because we would have had to go backwards for a minute or two to get to another road. A feature to select a road on the map and say "avoid road" would be great!
