Consider weather-related delays when suggesting long routes. I was going from Sarasota FL to Columbus OH and was given a supposedly 25-min faster route via I-10/I-95/I-26/I-77/US-33 instead of I-75/I-71. A winter storm that dumped several inches of snow on the suggested route added at least 4 hours to a normally 16-hr trip.

Overlying weather to the current driving conditions and a heads up about heavy rain / hazardous weather conditions would be helpful. I may consider stopping sooner or changing routes.

Yes, i travel back and forth between states and would love to see the routes weather forecast for multiple days in advance so i can choose when to go.

In certain areas in the country there are extremely slow moving vehicles including horses, buggies and tractors on winding and hilly two lane roads which are used by local families and often driven and navigated by children. There currently is no way to alert other drivers about these hazards.

I often switch back and forth between Waze and my favorite weather radar app. Having the radar overlay on the driving map as an option would be an awesome feature.

Yes please. Aviation GPS units do this and it greatly improves situational awareness.

An added bonus would be tje ability to route around severe weather.

Please consider adding HEAVY RAIN under Hazards/ Weather on the app. Most wazers use FOG/ FLOOD but that doesn't tell the story of torrential rain showers, pop-up storms and what might possibly be ahead on a route. Here in West Georgia we get really nasty storms (the rest of the US too) and many accidents can occur if unprepared. The warning can help save lives by warning the driver to slow, even pull over and stop to wait it out. Thanks for the consideration!

I am a government contractor working in the area of aviation weather research. there would be great benefit in allowing Waze users to provide real-time road condition and weather reports with the push of a button (similar to reporting police presence, construction, or disable vehicles). this type of data would be invaluable to identify local weather conditions (ice, rain, snow, fog, tstorms, etc), have it accessible in "the cloud", and eventually allow weather forecasters to access that data for updated and enhanced weather forecasts. Simply adding a push button for specific weather / road conditions in the road application would be helpful and a great start

Yes!! I hate having to check cities along my location to estimate what the weather would be along the whole drive. Would love to see this implemented.

We came across a very,very strong crosswind while driving south on Interstate 15 to Los Angeles, but we couldn’t warn other drives since there is no option to select “Crosswind” or “Strong Wind Gusts” on the Hazard selection.

Add WIND as one of the weather cautions you can post. Dust storms are very real in AZ and desert areas!

Had this idea a while ago. Would love to see a radar overlay. Could also pop up on long haul drives automatically zooming out to show you your about to drive into a storm... that would be amazing.
