Please add the voice alert to speed camera despite driving under the speed limit. Many streets have changing speed limits. The option will be fabulous

Can you provide a warning maybe 10 seconds or so before a speed limit changes to a lower limit?
A change to a higher limit is not important as that does not risk a ticket, but right now Waze informs (In very small and hard to read way) that the speed limit changed but usually 2-10 seconds after passing the speed sign. That could be too late and a ticket issued.

I set to alert when 10 percent over speed limit. What happens when I exceed that, is that the speed limit icon gets bigger for 2 seconds and that's all. If I stare at the phone screen the entire time while I'm driving, which is dangerous, especially when speeding, then I might see that. But otherwise that will almost certainly be missed. Can you make that persistent and the speeding warning fill most or all of the screen or keep flashing it until not speeding anymore?
Also, If I specify that 10 percent over the speed limit is okay, than I would not want the speed indicator to go from white to red until I exceed that 10 percent. The way it is now is that it goes red if I go 51 in a 50 zone. Most people go a little over the speed limit and it should only change to red when the speed limit plus the overage allowance set in Waze is exceeded.
Also, there should be an aural warning when speeding.

While I think this a good idea, there is the potential for alert fatigue. We don't map railway crossings because of this and speed limit changes are more prevalent. For example one route can have 3 (or more) changes within 5 minutes.

Warning when approaching changing speed limit. I find myself speeding because I missed a sign. A tone 1/4 mile out, or so, would be beneficial.

Agree with this! We’re on a road trip through various states and sometimes we miss the speed limit changes, especially at night. An option to enable speed limit change voice announcements would be nice. Like “speed limit X miles an hour”. Only when it goes from one speed limit to another, not every time theres a sign. A secondary option to only play a chime could be added as well in case you don’t want the voice announcement. This would help keep us out of trouble, particularly in unfamiliar places.

I would love to hear announcements of speed changes. My brother has MS, and mentioned it to me as well as he always has his eyes on the road and is worried about missing signs. Some highways like I-66 change the speeds multiple times in a few miles and it's hard for some to keep up with the changes. Thanks so much!.

Yes, the speed alert chime is too quiet. Use Velociraptor instead.

On the map show an extra speed limit sign on the road at the point where the current limit will change, so that I can plan and reduce speed in advance of a change that is just round the next bend.

Would be great if Waze showed you upcoming speed limit changes, like in Sygic. Waze clearly already has all the data, so to know about a specific speed change ahead would be fantastic

This could also help reduce driver distraction by allowing drivers to keep their eyes on the road. Good idea.
