If Waze does not get rid of the requirement for me to add only friends who have Facebook I will get rid of Waze. Not a happy camper.

Extremely upset that waze has taken away my friends via my personal contacts. I DO NOT WANT TO CONNECT FACEBOOK TO ANYTHING! I have been using waze for 6 years and they pull this on longtime users! Thanks a lot waze. NOT HAPPY!

I can't be bothered with Waze any more. It used to be excellent and I could communicate with my partner when one of us was driving. I don't use Facebook and never will and find the whole user interface has deteriorated massively over the past year. If my partner sent me a driver I used to be able to go into it, now it's just a thumbnail overview. Sadly the app has gone the way of all apps they spoil because they can't stop tinkering with. Rubbish.

I do not use Facebook anymore and never will again. I do really like Waze and will continue to use this app. I think it is a huge oversight on the developers side for limiting their users to Facebook friends only. More and more people are not using Facebook.

just resurrected Waze so my son and I could coordinate a mtg. Shocked to find no way to connect without Facebook. How rubbish is that? Were now going to delete our accounts and find some other non over intrusive way to connect

I do not use Facebook; it’s privacy-violating and invades life way too much. I wish to be able to use Waze’s functions within a narrow circle of people without being bound to data kraken services (this incidentally includes Google contacts). Please also do consider people who *cannot* use Facebook, for one reason or the other.

Don’t plan on getting Facebook, I liked when I could add friends by user name or phone number or email.

Yep,not real happy waze is trying to jam social media down my throat like everyone else now. I love waze but not happy about the facebook crap.dont want it or need it and not getting it!

Friends without Facebook was a feature for the longest time; there was absolutely no reason to remove it. Please restore it.

We have seen enough examples of Facebook misusing data to know that connecting our navigation to it is a very bad idea plus not everyone uses Facebook. There is no reason you can't have the old option as well as Facebook for those that are crazy enough to use it.
