I formerly had this option, but no longer?? The person I send my routes to most often, and vice versa, is not on Facebook. This makes me less likely to use the app.

I don't want facebook friends on Waze, I want Waze friends on Waze and facebook friends on facebook, don't try to mix a driving app with a social network.

I dont have social media and I would like to add friends on here. If your going to keep Facebook add on here could you at least add another way to add friend without it be with social media!

I never had a FB and I wont have it just to see friends on Waze. I think Waze will lose popularity like this.

Why has my contacts that I added in waze just disappeared it’s only showing Facebook friends not all my contacts was on Facebook so now I’ve lost them all . Why try and fix something that wasn’t broken by messing around with this app so annoying

Why the FB requirement? I don’t want Russian trolls following my rides. Bad move google.

Like everyone else, I don't wants to use facebook to add friend, try it with unique code or username or tellphone number to add and search friends.
My dad and most family members don't use social media.

I hope you guys will come to this solution.

Get rid of the Facebook requirement

Love Waze but very disappointed that FB is now required to add friends. Please change back to allow non-FB friends to connect on Waze.

Bad move from waze to remove friends not having fb.

My husband is not on FB- I can I even share a ride with him? I don’t understand why friends are now only FB friends. By the way Waze support was NOT helpful when trying to figure this out!

Same with me: I'm with Waze for many-many years. My Friends disappeared and can't follow their rides. It was a very important feature. I'm not on Facebook and do not want to join only because of this.

Why can't Waze simply use the contacts as previoulsy?

I do not have FB account, neither I want it... also a lot of my friends. So, Waze admin, do not force us somthing we do not want. Otherwise, bye to Waze.

Need to get my friends back. This app lost a key feature. It's not so valuable anymore and needto stay long at other options unless this is connected.

I DO NOT want to have to use facebook to add my friends on WAZE.
Please fix this back to the way it used to be.

Latest versions of Waze requires Facebook account to add Friends. This really sucks. Please come back with the Friends function without Facebook.

Waze was once easy to use and came in handy when it comes to notifying friends of your ETA, etc. I don't use Facebook, can't add my friends and it seems now Waze is less accurate at notifying me of slow/standstill traffic than Google Maps or even the Apple map on my iPhone, so why even bother? I'm going to give it a few more weeks and if nothing improves, I'll go to another App (WITHOUT ALL THE ADVERTISEMENTS AND CARPOOL OFFERS.) or use Google.
