Please add PIP. I drive a lot for a living and I prefer Waze but I can't use it due to it taking up my entire screen. I have been waiting years and checking almost every update waiting for it.

Saludos, para cuando van a poner su aplicacion que trabaje en modo reducido, o lo que es lo mismo, imagen sobre imagen ?? Su hermano/competidor Google Maps ya lo hace desde hace bastante tiempo... y se puede tener otra pantalla... y a la vez, la ventanita de navegacion donde poder seguir la ruta, mientras en la pantalla, poder tener otra aplicacion... en el caso de los vehiculos... informacion de consumo, llamadas... etc Estaria genial que pudieran igualar esa opcion. It would be awesome if the waze can be a mini floating screen, that way I can view something else in screen. Please have this option. I am sure others will appreciate it.

Sarebbe ideale poter avere un widget di navigazione dove venga visualizzata la mappa, in modo tale che anche sul veicolo si possa avere nello sfondo sempre la mappa senza dover per forza entrare nella app

Façam como o Maps e coloquem a opção picture in picture que deixa o app minimizado e não desligue. Uso ele para segurança minha, quando viajo e sempre deixo compartilhado com familiares onde me encontro no momento, não uso ele para dirigir apenas, então não preciso dele com a tela ligada.

Used to be an avid user of the app for work but since upgrade Waze will disappear when making or receiving a call.

It seems its not supported in Android 10 but it should be included as a standard feature so either Waze or Google should bring it back or they are going to lose users.

I'm going to have to look at another app as its not safe or legal to touch phone whilst driving but if you don't know the route you need the navigation but if you get a phone call this will not make this possible.

Please revert it back to how it was...

We really need this picture in picture feature, it is so smart and daily handy that I don't understand why Waze is taking so long to implement it.

Make waze stay on top while getting or making a phone call. This feature was already on waze in the past. Getting waze on top again while driving is very dangerous.

Is picture in picture features available or can you add this feature to your app?

1. If Waze is in the foreground and the device is locked, do not require unlocking in order to continue navigating. A must for usability!
2. Allow navigation /(preferably via an option) to continue in PiP (picture in picture) mode when Waze is minimized.
3. When Waze is minized, allow timely detailed pop-up notifications with instructions for upcoming turn and other important events.
I don't use an iPhone and I realize the reason these features are not implemented might be to keep feature parity with an iPhone, but I don't see Maps being crippled for the same reason. This is just unacceptable.

Allow waze to be running in the background, minimized while I have youtube open for example. That way I can still see the navigation.

This is currently possible with Google Maps, by clicking on the home button on your phone while navigation is on.

This would be great improvement for the app in my opinion.

Buenos días, me parece super importante colocar nuevamente la opción de mantener waze en primer plano, debido a que disminuye riesgo de accidente, ya que sin ella uno tiene que manipular el celular para pasar de la llamada al waze cada vez que lo llaman o que uno recibe una llamada

Por fv poner de nuevo la funcion de waze en primer plano, es muy peligroso conducir sin esta opcion
