I want a similar route to Portugal. To avoid roads limited to vehicles...

I am looking for the exact same thing. It's a real struggle to drive a distance because of all the detours due to the missing option to avoid C9 roads. Waze would be the first to have the option of all gps apps and the gratitude of lots of people.

In my state, LSV’s are allowed to drive on public roads with a speed limit of 35 or less.

It would be nice to be able to filter the navigation to avoid using roads with higher speed limits.

I'm not really sure how much demand there is for this in other Countries than the Netherlands, where I live.
My friend can't drive in here "normal" car anymore, since she has epilepsy. She can however drive a "brommobiel". I can't find the correct english translation, but it's bassicly a Micro car that can only do 45km/h. A lot of disabled people drive these cars here.
In the Netherlands, with a Microcar like that, you have to drive on the road for cars, not the bycicle lane (so you can't use bycicle navigation), and not on Highways or "Autowegen" (where cars can do 100km/h).
Sounds relatively simple, but here's the catch...:
If there is a C9 roadsign (also called a C09 sometimes), saying there are no tractors and no mopeds allowed, you can't drive there. But if the sign just says no tractors (so mopeds allowed), you can.

My friend also is authistic and I wanted to help, plan a route, that by car is a 78km drive in about 50 minutes. That turned out to need 9 detours to get a 86km drive, driving straight trough Utrecht (a busy city). I had to use Google streetview to follow the entire route, to check if there was no C9 roadsign...

Apperently there are A LOT of people looking for Navigation for a "brommobiel", but it just doesn't exist...

To me, it sounds so easy to create the option. Make an option to select a "brommobiel" (microcar) as the mode of transportation. And then on the Map, make an option for a C9 roadsign. Then avoid all highways and C9 roadsigns.

It could and would be so enormously helpfull to a lot of people, that can use all the help they can get !

In Denmark a moped is limited with only 30 km/h. Therefore could it be great to either choose Moped as a vehicle or on own limit the speed so i’ll get a more precise esitimated time t’ll arrive.💪

Here is one thing that I would love for you to considerate. As a motorcyclist, I am constantly looking for good apps that guide me for nice motorcycle roads. Currently, I have calimoto, Riser and Kurviger on my phone. each of these apps has strenghts and weaknesses.

I really wish Waze would have motorcycle-centric functions such as finding the best curvy roads to get from A to B, curvy round trips, ride logging and sharing, possibility to plan group rides on a computer and exporting it to the app, etc...

These things, well integrated in a single, kickass app like Waze would be a major boon for cyclists like me. I would even be willing to... wait for it, ... pay a subscription fee (reasonably) for the service. Perhaps your company could look at integrating some functionalities from the other apps, or build them from the ground up. Either way, I sure hope that you will consider this suggestion as it would make Waze THE ONLY complete option for sat nav AND motorcycle ride planning and logging.

There's really a need for this, as there isn't a single navigation app or device that works for 50cc users. All I need is to have a route that doesn't take roads with a speed limit above 50km/h.

I would love an option for my 49cc moped, that way time would be appropriate

Routing for motor scooters is not very good as compared to automobiles and motorcycles. Having a scooter specific setting would be amazing, I am an avid Waze user but when I ride its not usable even the motorcycle mode is almost useless for us. For 50cc riders and for most scooters under 125cc none of the available settings are any good. Avoiding Highways, Toll Roads, Motorcycle, Electric Vehicle does no good. Please add motor scooters to your app.

My microcar only goes at minimal speeds. Cruises at 30mph, normal motorway speed is about 40mph. Top speed 50mph. Can you do a "small private car" category or "classis car" category where the higher speed roads are reduced by one third? So, for instance, a 30mph road stays at 30, a 40mph road stays at 40, a 50mph, 60mph, or 70mph road pegs at 45. This seems an easy fix and the times would then be more accurate.

This would be an awesome feature! Add Scooter under vehicle type with some cool images for map pictograph and then calculate a route based on road type (Avoid Highways) and the speed limit of the road (30 - 40 MPH / 50 - 65 KMH max). Everything is there, just add a new function to the code and done! You can do this!

In the Metro-Atlanta area, Toll Roads are Free and best option for Electric Cars in Georgia. We can also use the HOV lanes with only 1 person in the electric car.
I appreciate the introduction of the Toll Lane option recently but can you also add the HOV lane as a preference when vehicle type = EV?
