This is the number one complaint I have about Waze and CarPlay. The current app creates a dangerous situation because drivers have to disable CarPlay and then use the app on their phones while driving to report a closed road. This report is the most important report a driver can make while driving and using Waze.

Yes please add this feature! I have to physically disconnect from CarPlay in order to report road closures which is very dangerous and extremely frustrating

This is a significant issue with Waze. It makes it so roads appear open when closed. It also stops reroutes when roads are closed. When you need this the most, it fails.

I have to physically disconnect my phone from CarPlay to report a closure I encounter, which is dangerous. I'm not sure why CarPlay can't be set to create the same interface for an upcoming intersection only (understand why you might not want users to move the map while driving).

NOT having apple car play road closure feature is truly annoying!! it would really be helpful for those of us that use WAZE everyday for travel to and from work :(

Please make this happen! I live in an area with road closures due to flooding. It’s not possible to mark the road as closed even - via the mobile app - unless you are in close proximity. By which time I’m in the car and can’t add it via car play. I.e if I know a road is closed 2 miles away, and Waze routes me down that road, if I click in the app “road closed” the only “arrows” I can click to advise of the closure are within the first few turns, with no option to mark the road as closed further in to the route.

Need the ability to mark a road closed via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, especially temporarily, for accurate data/use of Waze!

This feature is needed so you don’t have to unplug CarPlay to reroute due to a temporary closure

The Carplay and Android Auto interfaces have been lacking critical reporting features for YEARS. There has been no movement on the part of Waze development or Waze Admin to correct this glaring oversight. Since we can't get buttons added to the vehicle screens, you should have the phone screen pop up with all report options instead of saying Waze has to be disconnected.

The current system is extremely unsafe and represents a potential liability to Waze/Google if a user is to crash while trying to make a report in an unsafe manner.
