What about making all MCs visible by default until they've been read and acknowledged? Once they've been acknowledged, the status of the MC layer controls visibility as normal.
Also, HARD PASS on any animation in WME.

Hey!
Thank you very much for this great suggestion.
It was added to our backlog to try and see the possibility to implement it.Please note there is no ETA for it yet.

@quantumjedi my personal workaround for pre-creating roads is to create segments as a type that will not appear in the app, such as runway. that gets them in the system and a segment ID attached. then once the roads are closer to being opened i convert them to a drivable type and add an RTC.
i've used this method for a state highway that is in the process of being updated to an interstate, to get the new interchanges and access roads in place. just be sure to let other editors in your area know what you're doing via map comment or discord or slack or whatever you're using in your area...

You need to reach out to your local community of editors. try posting in the Ontario forum to get the attention of someone who can edit the map in your area.

Just navigate there, and when you arrive tap the button to add a photo. After adding a photo you can also correct details about the place for approval by a local editor who has editing rights in that area.
You may also edit it yourself in the waze map editor, and a local editor can approve your changes.
Another alternative is to reach out to your local editing community via https://www.waze.com/forum/
just scroll down to find the appropriate region for you to post your suggestion!

Once you've been using WME for a while, you'll gain enough experience for the system to allow you to make these sorts of changes on your own.
If you're not interested in actively editing the map, just go to the app, and tap the orange report pin. Tap the purple Place button and go from there. Once you've finished it'll appear in the app for approval. This will not necessarily make your business visible on the map, but it will allow users to search for it.
If you want to advertise your business with Waze, try https://www.waze.com/ads

please report in the app, or reach out to your local editing community via the forums. this will ensure your suggestion reaches a local editor who can resolve the situation.

hey everyone: i've never seen an ad pop up unless i was stopped. if you're seeing ads (more than just pins on the screen) when you're actually at-speed, report it as a BUG from within the app:
settings -> report an issue -> help center -> troubleshooting & support -> contact support
try to get a screenshot or video that shows the ad on screen along with a visible speed of over 5mph.

Great thinking! We’ll share with the team; they’re always interested in new feature ideas.

i would simplify this suggestion to "allow multiple stops" with the ultimate goal being that Waze would suggest the optimal route to accommodate all the stops.

If you turn on the "Avoid freeways" option it'll probably get you on the types of roads you're looking for.
remember that waze was initially conceived to get commuters the best possible route between home and work. everything else is feature creep.

We plan to work on marking the street with playing kids in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

this only opens Waze up to discrimination lawsuits.

"Hazard -> Shoulder -> Animals" sounds like a reasonable report type to me... ;)
you can kinda do the same thing at the livemap.
