A way to report flooded road or deep puddle in roadway
There should be a way to report flooded road or very deep puddle in roadway

If the water is sufficient to cause vehicle to loose control its probably enough to call it a flood. Agree i could be as simple as calling it water on surface, which in winter would be considered ice.
Happy wazzing

It does not technically count as flood water/a ford, but surface water is just as much of a hazard maybe even more so as it can be hard to see until too late. I am suggesting this as I hit surface water and nearly lost control (but my driving skills are top notch 😂) but as I said flood does not encapsulate this hazard accurately

Waze continues to suggest routes subject to flooding. Needs to maintain live links to latest information

Need to include live updates on flooded roads. Currently plans routes under water.

Can I report a flood after I've safely driven through the area. I can't take a hand of the steering wheel. I might not even have had Waze on at the time. Thanks

I read another input with puddle being categorized. While we have the flood button, it doesn't let you specify which side of the road or travel lane. We recently had a storm where it varied on different sides of the road. Higher vehicles would have no problems with puddles, but lower vehicles would have difficulty. If we had a warning system for this I believe we could reduce any problems during individual's commutes. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and my thoughts and concerns for making better use at reporting puddles small or deep and which side of the road they are located.

I would like to suggest that you enter the flood option for the alerts on the map during navigation. Yesterday in Salvador da Bahia many streets were flooded and I wanted to notify and this option does not exist yet. My suggestion for the next update.

Add predictive traffic patterns into the system to route drivers around traffic that has been historically proven heavy traffic during certain times. Also add predictive analysis to give probabilities of possible flooding prestorm and during. Big data issues with both but still solvable. I can do this by hand but needs to be automated.

A great tool for the user waze would be weather forecast and natural disasters in the chosen path, preventing and informing the user of a possible temporal, flood, snowfall, frost ......, and also informing that at that time the trip could There would be no delays or no destination.

Search in the box to the right for "New Report options", that suggestion is in the top ones right now. But I don't think you will get it this week.
Maybe also vote for "Please provide an option to turn off the "car stopped on shoulder" warning.", it would be nice to be able to mute the warnings when you want to.

Maybe add to this one: https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59223-waze-suggestion-box/suggestions/2549196-new-report-options which already has a higher vote.
And maybe also this one https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59223-waze-suggestion-box/suggestions/3559810-please-provide-an-option-to-turn-off-the-car-stop ... it would be nice to switch off these warnings if the user wants it.
But I doubt it's going to happen/be implemented this week.

When a street, intersection, underpass, etc is impassible due to high water or flooding it could be reported as a high water warning. Like the construction warning this would need to extend along a road and possibly be multidirectional (like at an intersection). A heads up notification that your normal route home has high water reported would be useful to let you know if you need to hurry up and get home before the water rises too much to get through. Thanks!

Hi Im from Manila in the philippines. Please include floods as an option in your Hazard report since we often experience flooded streets!

With the arrival if Spring some areas like mine are prone to street flooding or in some cases landslides. We already have the ability to report when a street is closed but I would like to add to it the ability to report street flooding, landslide or sinkhole, or emergency shut down due to authorized vehicles blocking off street for emergency response such as fire and police activity. In light of suck events in Boston with the 9 alarm fire and the bombings to the landslides in California and the street flooding from the Spring thunderstorm. Reporting road conditions in these situations would be very helpful.

Add flooding or standing water as a hazard option without typing.

so that we know which road to take when "disaster" come... the flood notification divided to 3 type: small car-able; medium car-able; pls use boat >_<; since we have a 2-3 M flood @ road. as for demonstration they tend to ended up being riots.. so we really2 really want to avoid them

Please add FLOOD report to either the "Hazard" tab or make it separate like Accident. I live in Jakarta where floods are quite frequent.
