Toll roads
When entering in a destination, please put the toll roads option there instead of in the settings. I am a driver in New York City. All day long, I would need to go into settings and check/uncheck toll roads. When I drive a passenger, of course, all the toll roads are taken, but when returning, I avoid as much as possible. Please change the tolls feature to somewhere when entering in the destination. Thank you

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.

Currently it's either all toll roads in the route or none, which can lead to some interesting routes...or sometimes can't be calculated at all because the only way through certain sections (Chicago area) is on toll roads.
Please have a way to limit toll road usage, or have an easier way of turning on/off the toll road routing option during a drive.

רובנו נוסעים הרבה בכביש 6 וכמעט שלא עולים על הנתיב המהיר לת"א.
מה שמצריך שינוי תכוף של הגדרת מצב נסיעה בכביש אגרה.
הגדרה זו "קבורה" עמוק בתפריט וקשה להגיע אליה.
הפתרון פשוט:
יצירת קיצור דרך בתפריט הראשי לשינוי מצב נסיעה בכביש אגרה.
(בדומה לקיצור הדרך הקיים למצב התראות קוליות)
פשוט מאד ליישום ויקל מאד על השימוש! -

I live in an area where the tolls fluctuate depending on time of day and traffic. Some routes can be as high as $14 one way.
It would be really nice if Waze could give me two options when calculating a route -- with or without toll roads -- and offer the estimated time for each. As it is now, if I have the toll roads option on, Waze directs me to take toll roads every time, even when a parallel road has little or no traffic on it.

Basically I would like a faster and easier way to toggle Toll/Avoid Toll roads. Toll roads are expensive in the DC area, and what I do depends on how late I am running for work. Right now, switching between toll vs no toll requires several steps. I just wish it was quicker and fewer steps to do so.

Currently, the user has to go to settings, then navigation, and then select on/0ff to "Avoid major highways." There should be a way to select on/off highways on the map so that it can be done quickly if the driver wants to switch off highways to take streets or to switch on highways to take the highways/freeways quickly. There should also be a way to select fastest route on the map so it can be done quickly during a drive.

I have noticed some annoying discrepancies with the Fastest routing when switching between Avoid Toll Roads ON and OFF. When I set Avoid Toll Roads to OFF all routes travel via Toll Roads regardless of the fastest routing available.
I have received toll road routing times of 45 minutes, 58 minutes, and 1 hour, 6 minutes and then switched to Avoid Toll Roads ON and received 50 minutes, 56 minutes, and 58 minutes.
It would be better if the Avoid Toll Roads OFF setting displayed the three fastest routes instead of the three fastest routes using toll roads.
