When driving either on highways or roads there are times when you need to notify others about pedestrians walking on the side of the road. That is so dangerous and if you can't see them a notification would be helpful.

Definitely. In South Africa, pedestrians always jaywalk... it's commonplace to have people running across motorways.

In Washington DC the local DOT has put in place a large number of cameras that will issue tickets for: not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign and before the white stop line; not stopping for a pedestrian in a crosswalk; and for blocking an intersection. It would be nice to differentiate these types of cameras from red light and speed trap cameras. These three new types of cameras may not be prevalent across the Waze universe now, but they might be soon.

Can you please include people or hitchhiker under the hazard category? I use "animals on the road" whenever I SE people by the highway, but it gives the other drivers that follow after me a false sense of what to look and be prepared for. This would be nice to include.

When people are on a highway and there car is broken they walk to somewhere and sometimes people don't see them or are not alerted I think it would be good to add a person walking button. Also to add a construction work ahead button.

I always report them as "Hazard" -> "Hazard on Shoulder" -> "Animals" and sometimes add a comment to say they are human.

Pedestrians are a roadside hazard on interstates and small back roads with the current selections you can only use 'animals' to describe this hazard.

Waze users can mark pedestrian crossing, to alert drivers when it's on his route, for security (specially badly illuminated places).
