Make gas stations ahead of you the default
Yes, if there are no gas stations ahead of me for X distance then yes turn me around but I’d rather stop at a gas station in the direction I am going

The first petrol stations on the list should be on your route. If they are too far, the next on the list could be closest off route stations

Make an option to search for specific gas stations on the map. Because of work we can only get fuel in 1 type of gas station so this would be a great option.

Add a small icon showing the next fuel station along my route with the distance remaining to it. Having a child with me it is important that i can see when the next fuel station (or rest area) is. I find myself changing to Sygic to use this functionality which is pretty good there but i wish i had it with Waze.

First the issue....
While I was on a long trip on the interstates, and selected gas, it gave me a bunch that were 0 min off my route, but it was at the very end of the trip after my exit on the interstate, which was over 300 miles away. My car said I had only 40 miles of travel left on this tank.The idea is that when you hit find gas while navigating, it should bring up a scroll list or buttons giving you choices for how many miles you need it in. 4 or 5 choices would be adequate. It could be 1, within 5 miles, 2. within 20 miles, 3. within 50 miles, or 4. Greater than 50 miles/no limit.
Then the app could search for the gas options with the minimum off the route within the miles constraint entered by the user.

Bonjour, comme on peut paramétrer son carburant et au besoin la marque de la station, ce serait bien d'afficher les stations correspondantes le long du trajet... plutot que de changer la navigation, on verrait tout de suite ou se trouve la station..

When searching for a fuel station, it would be nice to have an indicator that points in the travel direction of the fuel station, and not just show the distance to the station. For example, if a station is ahead of you, the indicator would point forward to show that you were moving toward the station. If a station is behind you, the indicator would point backward to show that you were moving away from the station. The same if the station were to the left or right, have an indicator that points to the station.

If I'm driving somewhere it would be nice to be able to limit the list of restaurants to what's ahead of me...
having the same feature for gasoline stations would be good.
