Google Calendar has a "Free" or "Busy" flag. Waze should only alert on "Busy" events.

It's not just trucks that needs this - my motor home is 10 feet plus the radio antenna! And it's 7 tons!
There are commercial motor carrier apps that have this data available so the data bases are out there, one of them could be merged into Waze....

And when you have arrived the ability to save the current location as a favorite would be good...

If I'm driving somewhere it would be nice to be able to limit the list of restaurants to what's ahead of me...

having the same feature for gasoline stations would be good.

    Hey,

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

    Thanks!

Pothole needs a "which lane?" question... some roads are 4 olanes each direction...

Police needs a "which shoulder" parameter. Some roads have a center divider, and he might be on the right or the left side of my direction. If he's on the right shoulder and I'm in the right lane then I move one lane to the left to give him room. Likewise, If he's on the shoulder next to the center divider (i.e. on the left side) and I'm in the left lane I would move one lane to the right...

Police also needs an "other side" option... If I'm westbound and i see he's on the eastbound shoulder helping a motorist I can post a courtesy notice for the eastbound traffic.

Locally the city puts speed bumps on residential streets around schools or day care centers to slow traffic down. Waze has no way to mark that street as undesirable for through traffic.

Also, a friend was complaining that Waze has mapped his route on some very steep streets - and on streets that his underpowered motor scooter can't climb.

Being able to map particular streets as undesirable needs to have a "public" and a "private" category - "public" for the speed bump streets, and "private" for my friend as his wimpy scooter.

I'm upvoting this. Parking tickets are $75 each. Streets are typically swept on consecutive days, with one direction on the 1st day and the opposite direction on the 2nd day.
