Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

There are commercial motor carrier apps that have this data available so the data bases are out there, one of them could be merged into Waze.... -

Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

Police needs a "which shoulder" parameter. Some roads have a center divider, and he might be on the right or the left side of my direction. If he's on the right shoulder and I'm in the right lane then I move one lane to the left to give him room. Likewise, If he's on the shoulder next to the center divider (i.e. on the left side) and I'm in the left lane I would move one lane to the right...
Police also needs an "other side" option... If I'm westbound and i see he's on the eastbound shoulder helping a motorist I can post a courtesy notice for the eastbound traffic.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedLocally the city puts speed bumps on residential streets around schools or day care centers to slow traffic down. Waze has no way to mark that street as undesirable for through traffic.
Also, a friend was complaining that Waze has mapped his route on some very steep streets - and on streets that his underpowered motor scooter can't climb.
Being able to map particular streets as undesirable needs to have a "public" and a "private" category - "public" for the speed bump streets, and "private" for my friend as his wimpy scooter.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI'm upvoting this. Parking tickets are $75 each. Streets are typically swept on consecutive days, with one direction on the 1st day and the opposite direction on the 2nd day.

Google Calendar has a "Free" or "Busy" flag. Waze should only alert on "Busy" events.
