Make speed limit larger on apple carplay
I have read the responses to this issue. It seems to be a bot responding as:
Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already displays a speedometer, including both your driving speed and the speed limit for the road you’re currently on.
That is NOT the issue. Just remove the speedometer and make the speed limit LARGER. Like it appears on Google Maps, which owns Waze.

MAKE THE SPEED DISPLAY BIGGER AND COLOUR COMBINATION LEGIBLE TO SEE

I completely get your point — the visibility of the speed limit is just as important (if not more so) than the speedometer itself, especially when driving in unfamiliar areas. Having it larger, like Google Maps displays, would definitely make it safer and easier to catch at a glance. I’ve also noticed that small design tweaks can make a huge difference in usability, kind of like how I value services that prioritize clarity and convenience with https://bostonlogancarservice.com/
when I’m traveling.Do you think Waze might be open to user-customizable display options, where drivers could choose whether to emphasize the speed limit or the speedometer?

It is a safety issue. Squint, focus, staring longer, etc. It is not so hard to change graphic sizes. Just do it for those that care about this stuff.

This has been suggested for YEARS! Please give us the ability to enlarge the size

Please add this feature. This is for safety. My sight correction is for long distance which means I can’t see close up without the use of glasses which I can’t wear while driving. Please help by making speed limit enlargement a feature.

This has been a long standing issue. Not having this feels like Waze does not care about accessibility.

This is critical.
I use Carplay on a motorcycle and it's almost impossible to read the speed limit as it is now. No need to see the speed only speed limit sign. -

Definitely needs to be bigger or fill the entire screen for like 5 seconds when you go over the speed limit or just give us the option to customise how big we actually want it to be and where on the screen we want it ( a floating icon ) .

Speed limit icon must be in bigger number so we can see easily rather than more focusing to know which speed we are going for safe driving

Speed and colours need to be selectable. Red on Black is a terrible mix for aging eyes! Way too small, especially when used on a motorbike CarPlay screen. Just give users the option to select the font size - like we can do with most other apps and phones. get on board waze. I've started using Google maps and Amigo as my primary, with Waze running in the background - due to two reasons. Font size / colours, and also not having average speed zone average speed.

This is indeed an issue—it often requires close attention, which is very distracting. I hope the developers are reading this chat and can improve the CarPlay version to make it better and safer for driving.

Generally all the icons are too small for a larger screen on CarPlay. Appreciate if it can be improved!

Agree. The speed limit info should be larger - cover a larger portion of the screen in order to be easier to read.
The speed limit info is more important than the speedometer, so I would like to have the speed limit number larger than the speedometer, not the other way around. -

Agreed! This is a safety issue.
The speed limit is too small. It's dangerous to have to concentrate on the Waze screen trying to read it while driving.
At the very least, give users the option to display a larger speed limit in the existing speedometer.
It's particularly important for people aged 40+ who have presbyopia (i.e. age-related sight deterioration that leads to a need to use glasses for reading but not for driving).
