New instructions for crossroad junctions/interchange
In the UK, there has been an ongoing debate on the most effective way to map crossroad junctions where drivers have to cross a main road without priority, as shown in this image:

The default instructions do not include guidance for routes that go straight, leading to URs for missing instructions even when no turns are required. As there's no instruction, the driver may not realise they have to give way/stop, leading to a potential accident.
If we were to add a "Continue" instruction, it may imply priority, which is not the case, and again, this may lead to an accident.
This suggestion is to have two new instructions for these situations:
- Stop, then continue
- Give Way (or Yeild in US English) and continue
This will inform the user that they need to take action, but a turn isn't involved and shouldn't lead to confusion.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

I agree with "At the junction, continue straight"!
We get so many URs about this, and it would keep complexity low while still providing important instructions to drivers -

+1 for Stephen's "At the junction, continue straight"

"At the junction, continue straight" would cover both give way and stop junctions and reduce complexity. It's a pity that so many good uservoice suggestions don't fit with the roadmap.

Where is the difference between "At the roundabout - go straight on" and "At the junction - go straight on" when ALL Waze instruction have an implicit "when it is safe to do so" associated. The driver is responsible in all circumstances.

this would be really useful to me with the type of roads nearby to my home. Often signage is obscured by trees/foliage and these areas are typically not well lit if at all.

These instructions are critical in the UK. Whilst it is the driver's responsibility to be looking out for give ways, often lack of investment in road infrastructure by local authorities means that line markings practically disappear and Give Way signs get damaged or obscured.
These instructions would be a cost effective life saver for drivers in these situations.
Also, the lack of warnings by apps including Waze were mentioned at a coroner's inquest into the deaths of two young people and their unborn child at the site of one of these junctions where it was practically impossible to determine it was give way.

Almost killed myself in 2 different places twice in the last week by Waze not notifying me about having to give way at road intersections. Please notify about give ways!

+1 This is the most common UR complaint in Waze where a minor rural road crosses a more major highway.
This has always needed a specific instruction rather than trying to reuse the existing instructions and TIOs.
Adding both a 'Give Way' and 'Stop, then Continue' options should provide the right options to allow all countries to adopt this to local rules.

+lots... I've always been against the use of the continue *navigation* instruction as a proxy for a proper "stop/give way/caution/etc" *warning* instruction, because of the risk of implying priority as Keith notes above, whilst fully understanding that in some cases there very much is a need for Waze to give the user *some* sort of heads-up about an oncoming junction.
So having a proper dedicated instruction for this, leaving "continue" to act solely as an aid to choosing the correct route through a junction, would be very much appreciated. More so than being given the ability to mark speed humps...

+1 Overdue feature, absolutely brilliant for those country roads

This has been needed for a while now, but with the recent introduction of permanent hazards, it has become much more important to add this to the list.

Good plan

100%. We have too many junctions up here that can be obscured and I think this would save a lot of accidents of people trying to stop very quickly on icy roads up in the Highlands.

100%. Often give way signs can be obscured by trees/shrubbery so an audible warning could save lives. We get lots of URs about this.
