This is indeed very important, specially for users that use CarPlay and Android Auto, and non TTS voices!!

It would certainly also be interesting in Belgium because there are more and more average speed controls.

The average speed could be displayed right next to the arrow on the average speed progression line on the left hand side of the screen.

La barre verte sur le côté ne donne que l'état d'avancement dans la zone. Il faudrait mettre au-dessus de cette barre un petit cercle affichant cette vitesse moyenne.

Calculating your average speed in zones would be great. TomTom Ami go free navigation did it already. And I’m sure Waze has the same capacity to do that.

Also display average speed during section control

This would be a feature that really sets Waze apart from the rest

When driving over a section where the average speed is measured, a green bar is displayed to indicate how far the speed control will be performed. However, it does not indicate the average speed driven in this section. It should be shown what is the average speed on that stretch

Calculated average speed from the time of entering the average speed zone can be displayed as a temporary second circle near the speed circle. The length of average speed zone can be displayed as a line around this temporary average speed circle. If the calculated average speed is more than allowed, the number can become red like in over speed.

Please please please please please Waze include this feature, it really helps us here in the UK

Average speed check bar is not shown in landskape mode, it is shown only in portrait mode. Please, add it to landscape mode too. Android app.

Live around a lot of average speed check areas. Used to use waze just on my phone which shows you how far you have left till out of the average speed check. Now switched to car play and this feature is no longer available :(

In many europaen country's the now use section controle over a certain distance. I suggest a average speed bar with the average speed so you don't get a ticket if you drive to fast. For example your opponent Flitsmeister and Coyote use this already . Flitsmeister is a free app.
But I want to see this option in Waze because I still believe Waze has the best interface even for carplay

Pourriez-vous vous inspirer de Coyote pour signaler et gérer les radars tronçon.
Peut-être faire clignoter l'indicateur de vitesse et/ou émettre un bip pendant la durée du contrôle (activable ou désactivable dans les paramètres)

Could you take inspiration from Coyote to report and manage section speed cameras.
Perhaps flash the speedometer and / or emit a beep for the duration of the check (can be activated or deactivated in the parameters)

Saw this on another app. Thought (that's a good idea) and was surprised it wasn't available. The visible colour change when approaching over average speed was a bonus.

I consider this function extremely necessary, perhaps with a yellow color when you are close to the limit, and red beyond that limit
