Waze calculates time to leave, sends reminder to leave, so I can be at "x" on time
Waze calculates what time I should leave and sends a notification (text, etc), based on current traffic and what time I would like to be at my final destination.
Example:
I have to pick up a friend at 5PM, but I am still at work. Waze sends me a note, predicting that I should leave by 4:25PM to arrive at my friend's location for approx 5PM.
Great thinking! The issue you raised has been addressed in a recent redesign. Hope you like it!

I liked it too, but it's currently not working for the past couple weeks. Hope it's not just me.

The default is 10 minutes notice to leave.
Please make that parameter adjustable in Settings,
Just make it 10 minutes by default and changeable.
One of my friends is disabled and it takes him about 10 minutes just to put his leg braces on. He could set his Waze to 20 minutes... -

There is a WorkAround for this. Try #GoogleNow.

Yes, yes YES! The reason why I love Waze so much is because it gives me the gift of time. This would be a terrific way to extend that value proposition because it would allow you to maximize your time at work or home – without wasting time by arriving needlessly early OR embarrassing yourself by arriving late.

Add feature for work schedule to predict traffic earlier for people doing shift work. So when I wake up i can receive notifications, how long it will take to travel, therefore managing time more efficiently.

I would also suggest that this pulls from the calender or "a" or set of calenders to scheduled events. A background check of every X minutes would enable the system to start, run the script quickly and then release the memory.

Just thought how handy this would be today and was going to suggest it. Good to see it's already out there. Could be a battery drain, but useful when you need it.

Excellent idea! I was thinking of simply reminding me when I should leave for office, via email. Same destination, same time, Mon to Fri.
