In my country (Costa Rica) we are very used to have people riding their bicycles on the highway so can you add an icon to report it and in that way wazers can be aware of the situation? Some accidents may happened when they are on road. Thanks a lot!

Great idea, Although nothing should ever replace the drivers responsibility to look out for and give the riders space as they pass. This should not become something drivers depend on and should be just a helpful aid. It's a great idea in principle but sadly would be concerned drivers would become too dependant on the app telling them a cyclist is ahead rather than actually looking for them and any other hazard on their route. This, perhaps, may be why it has not been integrated into the App.

Any update on this? It seems like a simple integration since live traffic/wazers are already tracked. Heck if given the chance I'll code it up myself!

Great idea (prove number of vote) sadly "and also why I'm became borring of waze" they didn't care about our advice... they planed to do so many news with 10 or 20 vote but nothing about something with 59 700 vote... I don't understand why they ask our advice. but I approve your idea

Excelent Idea. I´m a road cyclist and it would be a very usefull. Just implement an option to say waze that I´m a cycler and my wazer icon should change to a generic "cycler icon". Data used for waze statistics should be ignored when the "Cycler mode" is on. It would increase cyclist and car drivers security especially in narrow curvy roads. Please, think about this option it could save lives!!
