"Both lanes" reporting option
Add a "both lanes" option when reporting traffic jams, hazards, and accidents affecting both directions of travel at the same time.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Option to report all speedcams for bioth directions ... Today I passed a static but movable speedcam (new type in Belgium, checks both directions). IN one direction I got warning from Waze, other direction NOT !!!! I would like a n option "notice speedcams and police control allways in BOTH directions. Better to have a warning to much than having a speed ticket"

Need a way to let users know what Lane an accident is in. Currently as I approach an accident you see all the traffic slow down but you don't know which lane to avoid. It would be nice to know if you should work your way to the left to the right excetera

Add a location (such as lane # or some other identifier) to road hazards. On a multi-lane highway "object on the road ahead" does not offer specific enough information to avoid the hazard.

Greetings! My idea would be to create a way to report down limbs, wires, or other road hazards that are caused through accidents, natural disasters or tractor treads. Additionally, if it were possible to select what lane it is in or selection of lanes, it might help wazers to more easily avoid such hazards and plan their route more in advance. Hope you like it :D

I figured that it would be a good idea when it shows that there is traffic due to an accident ahead if it could show which lane the accident

I agree but would like waze to include reporting of this. I would like to see ability to report merging to help traffic behind the merge point move more steadily.

Great idea would be to pop up a lane bar across the screen, touch the lane affected.

Hazzard warnings pretty useless on multi lane highways without lane indication.
Would be great if pop up with lanes across screen, touch the lane affected. -

You should be able to say what lane the pothole is in.

or only exit lane is at a standstill on a highway so you can be prepared...

Suggestion: Do this with 2 check boxes eg:
[ ] My side [ ] Other side
That way you can check one or both. -

Any report of police should go out to both sides of traffic, due to the use of suv's and the ability to change sides or directions easily.

Make it easy to Mark White Lane the potholes in so that drivers are not looking for it when it's not in their lane. Enough distractions already. Also if we could market as a "tire eater" and know what lane it was people could avoid it better

Pothole needs a "which lane?" question... some roads are 4 olanes each direction...
Police needs a "which shoulder" parameter. Some roads have a center divider, and he might be on the right or the left side of my direction. If he's on the right shoulder and I'm in the right lane then I move one lane to the left to give him room. Likewise, If he's on the shoulder next to the center divider (i.e. on the left side) and I'm in the left lane I would move one lane to the right...
Police also needs an "other side" option... If I'm westbound and i see he's on the eastbound shoulder helping a motorist I can post a courtesy notice for the eastbound traffic.

Completely agree. The fact that this isn't already a standard function makes me wonder if the good people at Waze have never driven on any major freeway in Southern California. This just has to get more specific or the app loses its utility.

Lane 1 should always be the far left lane (or closest to center to account for my anglo friends), and then increase from left to right (or out from center) - this will allow for varying number of lanes. Lane 1 is always closest to center.
So when you post an accident, you can tag ig: "Lane 2". If there are four or five lanes, I know I need to get over to the right to minimize the impact to me. -

Also, the option for which lane or lanes in regards to accidents, object on road, etc
