Now that the release of Windows 10 has broken many devices running Windows 8.1, the users of 8.1 will be forced to upgrade to Windows 10 if possible or get a new phone.

Windows 8.1 had an AMAZING GPS app called HERE Drive. Also HERE Maps. They were all NOKIA. Nokia sold their devices division to Microsoft. It is likely that if your phone runs Windows and doesn't say NOKIA on it that it is still a Nokia. The recent Windows 10 release and breaking of Windows 8.1 devices caused another issue. After upgrading to Windows 10 from 8.1 the Nokia HERE Drive and HERE Maps were still installed, but not only no longer supporter but unable to be accessed! Instead when you open it you are told that WINDOWS MAPS is now what you have to use. I used HERE Drive. All of my favorites.....saved addresses that I visit and need to navigate to, they are gone. Windows Maps has an option that allows you to import all the Favorites and options from your HERE Drive/Maps. When you try to do it you are told that there is NOTHING to import. You've lost it all. Then after that you think that you can just reprogram new Favorites right? Wrong! WINDOWS MAPS offers NO FAVORITES. There is a star button labeled FAVORITES. You click it and there is a selection named "CAR". You can program an address into it, but it is still labeled "CAR". You can add a note to it, say "Home" for instance. That is your only allowed "Favorite". You cannot program any additional favorite addresses for quick navigation access. Windows Maps is MESSED.

I knew there was no hope, so I had to set out and pick a new GPS app. I had heard about Waze and so many people said that it was better than Google Maps. There was so much support for Waze!

The company that gives us Waze doesn't think there is a large enough number of Waze users that use Windows phones. They may be right. But what they haven't considered is that the very recent Windows 10 upgrade just RUINED the Windows/Nokia HERE Drive and Maps GPS system. Everyone that used to use HERE Drive or HERE Maps is now looking for a new navigation provider for their phone. Waze can offer that! Let Waze know that there is Windows phone user support for it and that there are orphaned GPS users wanting to try something new. Waze can capitalize on this!!!!

I liked the app but I will stop using it and I will also stop working on the maps, if there will be no Updates with new features. I will not change to Android to get a usable App. And I will not change to Google for this behavior of discrimiation and abuse of their monopol.

I am very disappointed that after installing this app on my Windows 10 phone, and spending lots of time uninstalling and reinstalling the app, changing settings, gong in circles around the guidance and FAQs, I can't get voice directions.
After visiting several independent forums, the answer seems to be that you have made a business decision not to support the Windows phones. I really feel the app should not have been available to download without a clear warning it is not suitable for phones like mine, and would not allow voice guidance (and would require drivers to look at their phone for directions, a serious safety hazard you are content to allow). It would have saved me wasting so much time. Off to find another app.

Nobody should ne interested in dissapointing users, customers or target public! Everything and everyone is expanding and promoting their product to non-users... Dont do it! Feel so dissapointed....

Come on Waze, we want a full update on our Windows Phone 10.

No updates since at least 2 years !!! There some bugs on Windows phone 8 / Windows 10 mobile, it's really boring.

-no voice over Bluetooth
-voice bugs (missing distances, no road names)
-Route calculation window which never desapear when road bonus are enabled
-wazers not shown on card

It's nearly unusefull on WP, fix it now, please !

Update for WP. Not read messages are not visible users can not add images to the card can not change or add a photo of the user. Unable to register the phone number. Can not connect to the server to download new voice directions

By not updating the Waze app for windows phone to include voice activation while providing the app through the windows store, you (Google, Alphabet, the owner of Waze) are creating a distracting app that may aide in vehicular accidents. Please correct the voice navigation or remove your product from the store.

C´mon. It is not that difficult or resource consuming !
We need :
Voice fix
Messages fix
Route calculation window which never desapear
Some upgrade on Maps quality (if possible).
Speedometer with speed limits (like on new 4.4 android version)
