Time zone adjustment
Waze should adjust ETA to the local time when destination is a different time zone. When you leave Phoenix for southwest CO, for example, the ETA should be in mountain time, not AZ time. Currently, the ETA only adjusts when your phone automatically adjusts as you cross the time zone. It would be nice to know drive time is 6 hours, but ETA is 7 hours due to time change.
Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.
Thanks!

Hard to believe something so basic is still missing. Simple solution: show the time zone with the ETA. E.g.:
ETA 1:49 PM EDT
ETA 3:26 PDT
ETA 4:20 CST -

We need this feature on Waze bcz we use it for work. We have to have the correct ETA times for our loads. Being late isn’t good for our business.

You guys should DEFINITELY factor in time zone changes into arrival times. That screwed me from getting to a flight on time.

I live in CST, but a short drive puts me into EST, which is where most of my travels are. This would be a HUGE improvement.

Add time zone changes

Count me in for voting that Waze recognize that my destination is in another time zone. For example, I'm traveling from Atlanta to Gulf Shores tomorrow, and need to arrive at noon. Waze is telling me I need to leave an hour earlier than necessary because it thinks I need to arrive at noon eastern time instead of noon Central time. This would not be a big issue except all other mapping services and GPS's I've used do this so it's confusing when Waze does not. Big fan of Waze, nonetheless.

I drive between eastern and central all the time and Waze is the only app that doesn’t automatically account for time zones. Apple and google maps are better. Huge fail Waze developers and its why I don’t use Waze. I came upon this siting in my car trying to find the setting to fix this and now I learn it’s not me. What a joke. Thanks for nothing Waze developers.

Dang! Waze, please make this important improvement. We’re crossing a time zone today and just realized we gave the incorrect Waze ETA, causing us to have to make big changes in order to finalize a transaction.

This is a must have feature. It is very confusing and causes me to use other apps instead.

Happens to between central and eastern near Tallahassee. This is bogus, that's why I use a GPS as backup. Huge failure by Waze.

Amen - just ran into this on a trip to a different time zone and Waze doesn't take time zones into account at all.

Waze really needs to add time zones to planned drives. Set a drive to arrive at 7am est (was in est at the time,) and when the time came, waze assumed 7am cst, so I was late.
I also work across time zones, so this would be a very convenient feature.

Drove once from California to Texas. I planned to arrive at specific time. As I was driving (and being unaware of crossing 2 timezones) I was really surprised, what happened to arrival time. That was not a good experience.

So this issue has been brought up for three years. Do the developers actually have a link to this forum?

I've already complained about this and they acted like it was an issue with my app, requesting departure location, arrival location, time, and screen shots. This is not a cosmic request. My Google app has no problem accounting for time zone changes when providing driving directions, so I'm pretty sure the Waze developers can put their heads together and figure this out.

Definitely agree...makes it very difficult to plan for arrival times. Failure to adjust makes the feature that tells you what time to leave absolutely useless

Definitely need to have ETA shown in correct time zone when planning. If I need to be in KY at 11AM EDT and I’m in central time zone the trip planner should give me an accurate time to leave based on time zone and drive time. Not knowing this wasn’t the case cause us to miss half of our Granddaughter’s first college Soccer game. Needs to be noted somewhere/ somehow.

Yes. Please add this feature. You could make it an option in setup if some don't like it. Can't imagine why they wouldn't. Of course you want to know what time it will be at the destination when you get there.
