Stay on Major Road Option, Longer Distance, Faster Time
Give a route option to stay on MAJOR roads, state roads and highways, and choice of a slightly longer distance, but shorter time driving. Waze always takes me off the interstate or major state road to save a few miles off of my route, but in doing so I go through every stop sign, speed table, neighborhood and school zone possible. Sure it saved me a couple of miles, but added loads of frustrating time to my drive, increased gas usage and increased wear and tear on my car.

Show All Alternate Route Information and Make It Easier to See and Select While Driving
When driving on a route, Waze lets you select alternate routes. However, there is not enough information given to make an informed choice.
Examples:
A) Waze may suggest a different freeway than the one you're currently on, but to get to that freeway you may be routed on side streets. You know that the traffic on the side streets is not accurately reported by Waze and are busy at that time of day and so you would avoid that route if you knew Waze would route you that way.B) Waze senses that traffic is getting worse ahead and suggests…

Make a go now please as default option or possibility to choose it what you prefer, on my another acc i have go now but on main acc i have view routes and its annoying to click 10 times before you can go.

Optional Route Preview
The recent addition of a route preview that can NOT be turned off needs to be removed. I went from being able to efficiently go from place to place as a driver to having to stop and navigate my way through a maze of "here's this route over view. Here's that overview." If I want or need a new route, I'll go find one. Like I always did. At the very least, give us the option to turn that off. It's a waste of time.

Routes requiring a vignette by default
Make it more clear that Waze is changing the route to prevent taking routes that require a special vignette. Or make it chose routes requiring a vignette by default and give the option to disable it. Waze should at least propose the routes containing highways even though they require a vignette.

I-4 Ultimate Express Lanes
The new express lanes on I-4 through Orlando, aka I-4 Ultimate, are finally finished. While they physically show up on the Waze map display, they're never recognized as roads whenever anyone drives on them and it just freaks out thinking I am either on the normal I-4 lanes or somewhere off route. They also are never offered as routes and no doubt save a ton of time when the downtown Orlando traffic is backed up.

LInk up with Highways Management
HI Waze. I'm guessing you already have a link up with the Highways Management Team. Do they fail to tell you all the work they're doing? Driving home last night there was a large closure (M11 turn off on the M25) which wasn't on Waze and wasn't on any of the M25 warning boards either. Seems odd that it wasn't on either seeing as it was coned off and clearly involved planned works.

Setting for toll road suggestion
Have a setting in the app, where you can request a minimum time savings before the app gives you toll road suggestions. For example, only provide toll road options. If the time savings is 10 minutes or more. I do not need toll options when it’s only going to save me three minutes.

Toll Roads - Variable Toll Avoidance
Summary: An additional check box in navigation in settings, that turns off variable tolls only leaving the Tolls that don't change prices.
I'm surrounded by Toll roads in DFW, but they have these awful Toll roads that change to be like 20$ on Friday's after work. basically taking advantage of busy times to squeeze money out of us. Add option to select routes that have reduced exposure to the headlights of oncoming traffic at night
Add a driving preference/option that selects routes that have reduced exposure to the headlights of oncoming traffic at night to reduce glare and halos. In addition to generally avoiding busy streets, the route chosen might prioritize two-lane roads so the driver can get into the right lane, thereby moving farther away from oncoming traffic. Older drivers hate driving at night so this is a big opportunity to potentially attract new users.

Cheapest route (including the cost for my time)
Sometimes I want to take the fastest route possible, but most times I want to take the cheapest route. By cheapest route, I mean one that includes a cost for my time as well as fuel, depreciation, and tolls.
I live in a part of Austin where the fastest route is often a highway that goes the long way around, but there is a slightly slower route that is direct. I'm willing to take 2 more minutes to drive if it saves 7 miles on my car. The US govt. puts the price of a mile on a car at…

Include traffic signal count on route summary.
For “short” routes or re-routes, include count of traffic signals. During peak periods, a longer route may be preferable with less signals, which have the potential for delay if even no delay exists at the time of route calculation. The definition of short is arbitrary and could be decided by the devs based on utility vs performance.

Timeframe for the toll highway
it would be nice to add the ability to choose the time when the toll highway can be used to calculate the route. Sometimes there are promotions for the tool highway
