Better customization options in the settings
I think you should be able to customize your own GPS to be able to avoid certain streets and also to always take Highway as first route priority

“Obstruction Ahead” button
Need a quick way for driver to reroute when confronted by impassable conditions or traffic jams. This should be via a button available on the main screen. Thank you.

Indiquer la fermeture d'une rue scolaire
rue ulens numéro 83 située à Molenbeek Saint-Jean (Belgique/Bruxelles) est fermée à la circulation du lundi eu vendredi de 8h20 à 8h40, l'après-midi de 15h10 à 15h30 et le mercredi de 12h15 à 12h30.

Suggest a faster route with Vignettes/passes
This happens very often: You plan a trip. It should take e.g. 12 hours using highways.
Then you open Waze and forget to add the pass/Vignette. The Waze offers you a route. You glance at it and don't see it is taking back roads on the overview, so you accept it and start driving...
After 10/12 hours you realize you are only halfway there and you won't arrive to your accomodation on time (happens more than you'd think)... what happened? Waze didn't prompt you to add the pass/Vignette for a faster route.

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

Aujourd hui bison futé signale journée rouge de Paris à la Bretagne. Demain journée verte.
Waze indique par contre des temps comparables sur le même trajet entre les deux jours. Qui se trompe ? Avez vous analysé ces différences ? Avez vous des données statistiques sur ce que l on appelle en France "les grands départs" ?

New destinations on the go
Hi. Add this feature needed (especially por taxi drivers). When you have a route set from Point A to Point B, be able to add a point C, and D and Etc on the go, to go after point B (not before) without changing the route that already exists. And the application show you how much time and distance it will take you to go from A to C. Contact me for a better explanation if you don't understand. To keep things short. Give the option to down load maps of other country and plan on it a trip without times. Just to see the best orders of point to visit. Save the routes and when geting to the country . Apply it on the live map

Restore real-time route tracking
Waze used to provide highly accurate real-time traffic updates. I am requesting that this functionality be restored. Currently, the app seems to calculate travel time based on long-term historical statistics, which might be effective in massive megacities, but in a city of half a million people, the routing is consistently inaccurate.
Last week was a school holiday. Today, the app is clearly relying on statistics from that holiday period rather than the actual real-time traffic conditions. Route options on Car Play
When connected to car play, I cannot choose a route, Waze does it for me. Sometimes it chooses routes I would not choose. Either poor areas of a city, poor roads, lots of side streets, toll roads, etc. I’d like to choose my route from at least 2 or 3 options vs none. Thank you.

Personalized Routes Based on My Driving Habits
Waze could use AI to learn the routes I use most frequently to reach a destination.
For example, to get to work I always take a route through a neighborhood that almost never appears in the suggested routes, but which is faster for me.
If Waze detects that I repeat the same route 5–10 times, it could automatically save it as a Custom Route and show me that option along with the main routes. This way I can see if it has traffic and easily compare it.

"Predictive" traffic information
Would it be possible for the app to have a switch allowing the users to see "predicted ETA" based on traffic data for the route from previous days/weekdays?
For example, I know for sure that a particular segment of a journey will get jammed at about 6:55 - 7:05. However, when starting the 30min journey at 6:40, this particular segment is still "free of traffic" based on live info, and so Waze shows me the route as the fastest, despite the fact that within 15 min this segment will get jammed and the "fastest" route will turn into the slowest.

Horse
I’d like an option to identify preferred routes based on vehicle size/towing. Some routes are quicker for a car as they can navigate bends and turns quickly however when driving with a horse float on or a large SUV with a caravan these routes are not conducive and slow others down.
