  3. YIDDISH for WAZE

    Few years ago I have created Yiddish voice for WAZE. Hundreds of Jewish people in Israel, USA, Holland and GB are hearing my voice of Yiddish. But it is a local version, and I have to send it each one, that asks me. I would like to include my two versions (one for metric system and another for miles) of Yiddish sound in your original vesrsion, so it will be a part of the language pack. I don’t ask for any money, just to make the Yiddish language a leagal part of the best navigator.

    Please add the brazilian voice of Homer Simpson to Waze. His voice is iconic and beloved by fans in Brazil. Since The Simpsons show reached its last episode, i believe it would be a great idea!

    Olá, gostaria muito que fosse liberada novamente a voz do Mc Fioti. Eu gostava e todos que andaram comigo gostaram tbm da voz, achava engraçado e legal. Os que utilizam waze tbm deixaram na voz dele. Poderia para quem já utilizava ficar disponível. Tipo quem baixar a voz desejável, ela continuar disponível, mesmo ela não estando mais no app.

    Heneral Luna a character played by John Arcilla is one of the most watched films in history with 31M views in youtube. This will be a good grounding for the app and its marketplace should it be launched in the country :)

  8. "Repeat last command". Include a touch icon or driver voice command to trigger replay of last Waze voice command. Long

    "Repeat last command". Include a touch icon (or more usefully, driver voice command) to replay the last Waze voice command. Long periods of dead air time (Is Waze still there?), interference from sounds of passengers (someone talking while Waze is speaking), outdoor noise (motor cycles), or simply forgetting the last thing Waze said can all be resolved by putting a "Repeat last command" icon on the Waze display

    Allow to have sidekicks not give directions. I love hearing street names. Sidekicks can speak when no directions are given. Such as on long roads, when stopped, etc.

  10. Australian TTS voice Kylie is only available while I'm in Australia - why region-lock voices?

    We live in a world where people aren't restricted by country borders, and so it's always frustrating when you're faced with a feature or an app on your phone that's not available simply because of where in the world you might currently be.

    I'm Australian and have really embraced using Waze over Google Maps over the years. One of the reasons this has been so easy is because of Kylie, the TTS voice I have selected. However, when I go to another country Kylie suddenly stops being available and Waze sounds British or American with no option to change it…

  11. Ability to use Apple Built in System Voices

    Would love to be able to use built in system voices on iPhone. I’m particularly interested in the Siri Voices that Apple has as it's clearer and easier to hear than the Waze TTS voices.

  17. Media Control

    It would be nice to have the option to have some form of media controls always showing because it is irritating having to press to open the controls and then the action you want. A small but impactful change. Otherwise love the app best in its class

  19. Agregar la opcion de probar las voces disponibles

    Hola!

    Hace poco estuve viendo las opciones de voces disponibles y aunque hay un montón es super desagradable y poco eficiente tener que seleccionar una, entrar al modo de ruta y esperar a que suene.

    Recomiendo que se agregue un botoncito de "play" al lado de cada voz que nos permita tener una idea de como suena dicha voz y así poder elegirla de manera mas amigable.

    Si no quieren el botoncito de play, puede ser cualquier otra opción pero la idea de fondo es poder "testear" la voz que queremos antes de dejarla seleccionada como por defecto.

  20. Knight Rider K.I.T.T 's voice Mr. William Daniels

    Please guys and girls end everyone else we really need K.I.T.T's voice from the show named Knight Rider from the 80s. It's a talking black Trans Am and you would be the only ones to have it even if I had to pay for the voice like I did for my old Garmin which I don't use any more. So please I really know you all can do it.
