    Have directions read to you in local voices. Choose your town and the voice would feature someone from that area and use local vernacular and dialect for personalization and added fun. Start with @pardonmewithp in the Detroit area.

  3. Mirandês, Portugal's second official language on Waze

    Since 1999, Mirandese (in Portuguese, Mirandês) has been Portugal's second official language. My suggestion would be to include a female voice in the catalogue of available voices (for this voice I can suggest Professor Ana Afonso, who translated Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's "Le petit Prince" into Mirandese) and a male voice that she herself can suggest.   4. Navigate to a saved place using voice command in android with google assistant

    Navigate to a saved place using voice command in android with google assistant on Samsung S22 phone. For example, if I have a friend named Jim and enter his address as a saved place in waze and name it "Jim". Then shouldn't I be able to open waze and say: "Ok google, drive to Jim". When I do that now, google assistant responds with "Sorry I don't understand". Isn't that a pretty basic functionality? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

  5. Voice Change Glitch and Popping Sound?

    When using Waze with voice enabled it switches to a different voice for some lines? It didn’t always but lately it switches from the normal voice to a young girl calling red light cameras “Stoplight paparazzi” lol. Also, sometimes while driving with alerts only the music lowers and a pop sound plays and the music returns?? What does that mean?

    Ansagen des Auto-Navigationssystems kann ich am Lenkrad mit dem Lauter/Leiser Regler abbrechen, was ich sehr praktisch finde.
    Da ich Youtube Music und Spotify pausieren kann müsste das auch mit Navigationshinweise per Ton gehen können.

  12. Add an option for a periodic reminder, for people relying on voice

    I commute on a motorcycle with my phone in my pocket. Sometimes there's a long gap between instructions, and I don't know if I need to continue or Waze has crashed.

    Could an option for a periodic reminder (perhaps once a minute) be added to help give confidence and remind me of the next junction?

  16. Decreased Max Volume: Apple Music Connected to Waze Playing through Bluetooth

    If I’m playing music through Apple Music connected with Waze playing through the car’s Bluetooth: Before beginning navigation, volume for the song begins at 100% of what the phone volume is set to, spoken navigation directions decreases volume of song to give 50/50 blend of music and directions at 100% total volume, and then PROBLEM - music volume increases after directions to ~85% total volume.

    My car speakers don’t get loud so I need the phone and car volume at max, and with Waze I cannot get the best experience.

  18. Enable audio sensing auto popup for incident selection

    Enable auto audio sensing if we say police, popup and and ask and post police spotted and same for other like accident or anything related, most of the time we say police if we travel more then one person, so device can hear and identify and show the popup which weill not be forgetten and add on the same place.

    Attualmente ci sono solo 3 voci italiane. Per avere più voci, potrebbe essere utile collaborare con personaggi famosi italiani. Ad esempio, potrebbe essere riaggiunta la voce di Marco Mengoni.
