  1. Add Libby to connected apps

    I use the Libby app for all my audiobooks as it increases library usage statistics and helps with funding for one of our most important public resources. I would love to see it gain more traction by being included as one of the connected apps with Waze like you've done with Spotify & Audible.

  2. Action icons on left in CarPlay (US) so driver doesn’t need to reach across

    Put the action icons on the left (in countries where cars are on right of road) when displaying in CarPlay so the driver does not need to reach across to use them. Notifications should appear on right instead of left.

  3. Fix speed icons size and location on screen.

    Speed icons are way too small to see. Countries that drive on right side move icons to left side of screen. Know problem for years. Please fix.

  4. Following the update of my Apple phone 12 Pr Max to IOS 16, currently 16.1 there is considerable battery drain and overheating of the phone

    Eversince I updated my iphone 12 pro max to IOS is whenever I use Apple Carplay and especially WAZE the phone overheats significantly in a very short timespan and also the battery drops dramatically in no time.
    Is Waze aware of this problem ? Are they doing something to fix it.
    The same issue does not occur when I use other navigation software’s in Apple Carplay.

    Please fix it as I can not continue using Waze with such dramatic battery use and overheating of the phone!

  5. turn not allowed for next turn on carplay

    When the turn I need to make is not available, I should be able to say "turn not available" in the edits while using carplay.
    There isn't a need to be able to edit multiple streets, just the turn Waze is asking for because I need to be able to be re-directed in a foreign area.

  8. For Right Hand Drive countries, give directions from the right speaker.

    I live in a RHD country and the directions from Waze come out of the front left hand speaker - which makes perfect sense in the (majority) LHD countries, but is quite hard to hear in certain circumstances.

    Either the sound should come equally out of both front speakers or it should be localised so that in LHD countries it comes out of the left speaker, and in RHD countries it comes out of the right speaker so it's closest to the driver.

  9. UX buttons distribution

    When waze asks if there is an accident/police/car/anything in the street the buttones are too close so if you are driving it is very difficult to answer yes or no, you should put the right and left or top and bottom, so it is easy to answer.

    Waze is a good app, but as a truck driver, it does not offer the option for commercial vehicles to avoid low bridges or parkways. If this feature was added, it would make the app more useful for everyone. I would like to see this capability added and updated in Waze.

  13. Waze app bug - super annoying

    app runs in background after disconnecting from Apple CarPlay. Please fix this! It’s a battery killer, and super annoying to have to manually close after every trip. It’s enough to uninstall the app.

  14. Right hand drive vehicles

    The current set up on CarPlay is set up for left hand drive vehicles, here in the uk using the report functions is difficult, and also it looks odd that the directions are on the right side of the screen and the map is on the left, it’s difficult to see, please add an option to mirror everything for RHD vehicles, thank you :)

  15. Bug fix: Dark Mode no longer activates on CarPlay

    Since the last update, Waze no longer activates Dark Mode on CarPlay. I see no other place to alert the developers of the issue.

  16. Make map zoom buttons on CarPlay always be visible.

    Currently, in CarPlay it takes several clicks in different locations of the screen just to get the map zoomed in/out just one step. Since the zoom buttons are so frequently used, please consider making them hot buttons (alway visible on the map). Seems silly to have to hunt down through the UI to find the zoom buttons, and that could be a safety issue as well.

  17. Update Waze to ensure that correct speed is displayed when using through CarPlay.

    Currently when using Waze thru CarPlay, the speed displayed is approximately 50% of the actual speed.

  18. Need an update for overheating phone!!

    When using Waze on CarPlay it causes my phone to heat up quickly and end up stop charging and kills my battery ( 40% in an hour) by running Waze on CarPlay. This needs addressed. It started happening after the iOS 16 update and doesn’t do it with any other navigation app or any other app period.

    Please fix this. Oh and add stop signs yield signs and traffic lights to the app as well.

  19. Please fix Waze CarPlay lag

    CarPlay lags almost a full minute upon input. Your position in the map is also delayed. So turn by turn directions will be missed. Waze CarPlay is almost unusable.

  20. Access Phone’s Calendar from Apple CarPlay

    At the moment, you can access your iPhone’s calendar from the Waze app on the iPhone. This allows you to select the calendar item from Waze, and then Waze will automatically commence navigation to the address associated with the calendar entry.

    Unfortunately this same feature isn’t available from Waze within Apple CarPlay.

    This feature enhancement request is to request the same calendar access ability from Waze in the iPhone app is made available on the Waze Apple CarPlay app,

    That way, you can get in your car, and from Apple CarPlay Waze, select the calendar entry appointment you are driving…
