Speed camera alert distance
It would be very useful to be able to increase the distance at which speed camera alerts are triggered. Currently they are way too short (too little notice) - speed cameras can now detect cars at a significant distance away, and multiple times I've had the alert triggered only after I could see the camera and it could see me (usually on a motorway bridge).

Look both ways when a road ends at a two-way road and you turn right
When driving on a road that ends in a two-lane road and you want to turn right, you usually only look to the left to see if a vehicle is approaching.
I think that in these cases, Waze should give a voice warning to check visually in both directions.
It may happen that on the right side a vehicle is overtaking another and the driver is doing so on the opposite lane, the lane you intend to enter.
The danger can increase if visibility is poor due to vegetation or other objects.6 votes -
speed camera alert closer to the speed camera
the alert is happening 400m from the camera, sometimes there is an intersection before the camera that you may stop at and by the time you get going again you may of forgotten about the camera. listening to the news or music may distract from the warning, when you finally get that 400m down the road. a second alert 50m from the camera, speeding or not, would be greatly appreciated.

Based on daily accident reports, mark areas with a high frequency of accidents as high-risk. Provide a voice warning: "You are approaching a dangerous area with a high concentration of traffic accidents - drive with increased caution!"In urban conditions, it can also be applied to dangerous intersections: "Dangerous intersection ahead."
For turns where accidents are often marked: "Caution, dangerous turn ahead!"
These voice warnings could greatly contribute to the safety of road users. It is important that they have a voice alert before entering the specific section.

Criar opção de incluirmos alertas de lombada para colaboramos com a segurança e informação do APP. Aqui no Brasil esse é um item de alerta que nem sempre é sinalizado como deveria por lei. E assim, o uso do aplicativo alimentado pelos usuários seria muito útil.

Speed Camera Audio Alerts should be User not Community Choice
It seems there is a lack of clarity regarding Speed Camera Audio Alerts and how they are triggered.
From what I can tell, audio alerts for speed cameras are a "community" choice, meaning that an audio alert will only be played given a number of conditions:
Depending on where you live - Your "community" decides what the threshold should be, that is if you are currently travelling at the speed limit or below, some communities will trigger the audio alert. Speed limit alert
Hey Waze
I have a proposal that I think would help with traffic safety. You have already created a speed alert. The problem today is that it only gives an alarm once in a speed zone. To get a new alarm, you need to enter a new speed zone. I thought it might be a good idea to make it possible for you to choose to get an alarm as long as you drive too fast, and that you can choose the alarm tone and volume. Potholes reports disappear
Every day I report huge potholes on motorway E42 in Belgium, and every day I have to report them again and again because Waze doesn't take my indications into account. Could you please make an effort? Thanks.

Any chance of having percentage over speed limits alert rather than mph/kph over please. e.g. 10% over speed limit, 15% over speed limit.

Assigning a custom voice to alerts
Could it be possible to assign a custom voice to an alert? E.g. to assign a short police car siren to a police alert, or to upload another own voice to a another alert?

Il y a de plus en plus de voitures banalisées en France. Mais impossible à signaler. Il y a déjà le signalement « Police visible ou caché » pourquoi pas ajouter la possibilité de mettre « Police en mouvement » pour signaler des voitures banalisées.

There should be an option to disable alerts for any report type like construction
There should be an option to disable alerts for any report type like construction. In my city, there's construction constantly all summer long. I want to see construction on the map, but I don't want to receive a notification about whether or not construction is still there. That notification replaces the area of the screen that shows the ETA. This forces me to have to clear the notification every time it comes up, and in my city that's every block. Add an alert for wildfires in a area and heavy smoke covering the roadway.
This could help unknowing drivers from potentially driving into a dangerous or even life-threatening situation.

Please, Please Stop The Waze Carpool Popup! It’s so dangerous! The Carpool Popups has almost gotten me into several accidents.
Please, before someone gets killed! Please put the Waze Carpool popup in settings for people that are not going to Carpool. Your Stupid Carpool popup has popped up right when a turn is coming up or a route change. The Waze Carpool popup comes up, COVERING MUCH NEEDED INFORMATION JUST BEFORE A TURN! I have to quickly react and swipe the IOS phone to quickly Get Rid Of The Carpool popup so I know which way to turn. While I’m doing that, MY EYES AREN’T ON THE ROAD. Seriously, I’ve almost had two accidents because of Your Stupid Waze Carpool…

Prohibited zone alert
It would be handy to add prohibited zone notification, like you are entering a exmilitary zone which is prohibited without permission. Or have this notification alert in the planning overview.
I set my destination in this zone without knowing is prohibited and waze has no problem to lead me there.
