Feature Request: Secondary Display / HUD Support for Mazda (CarPlay & Android Auto)
Hi Waze Team,
I am a frequent Waze user driving a Mazda CX-30. I love the community alerts and real-time hazard reporting, but I am disappointed that Waze does not support turn-by-turn directions on my vehicle's secondary displays—specifically the Active Driving Display (Heads-Up Display) and the digital instrument cluster.
Both Google Maps and Apple Maps fully support this feature on Mazda's infotainment system via CarPlay and Android Auto. Because Waze lacks this integration, I am often forced to switch to competitor apps just so I can keep my eyes safely on the road while navigating.

It is not about time that Alphabet Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook Meta, Microsoft and all of the little children have yearly standards meetings so they can develop a mature culture that can learn how to COOPERATE instead of COMPETE to the detriment of all of their customers who use apps across the different fiefdoms they foolishly wish to carve out for themselves which is very short sighted and not customer friendly whatsoever? Log off option along with a log on that works with passwords so customers can fill in id and password using biometrics for customers who like to sign in, use an app and then sign out. Not all customers want to be logged in all the time having their location monitored all the time.

Add “Bad Car” Mode
Hi all!
This idea is more for countries who always have problem with fog and ice.
Turning on: Bad Car - mode, automatically chose other route to the destination point avoiding this points and other dangerous.

Speed cameras visual
I would like to provide feedback regarding the recent changes to speed camera alerts in Waze.
The previous speed camera warning system was much better and easier to see while driving. The blue progress bar provided a clear visual indication that a speed camera was ahead and remained visible as you approached and passed it.
The new circular camera indicator is much less noticeable and is harder to see at a glance. It requires more attention to the screen than the previous design, which defeats the purpose of having a clear and safe warning system.

Customizable UI Layout and Quick-Access Report Widgets
I'd like the ability to customize the Waze interface by relocating, resizing, hiding, or rearranging on-screen widgets and buttons to better fit individual preferences and driving habits.
For example, certain reports such as "Vehicle on Shoulder" are extremely common on my routes. Instead of having to tap the Hazard button and navigate through multiple menus, it would be much more convenient to allow users to create customizable quick-report widgets or shortcuts for frequently used reports. Small, movable on-screen buttons could provide faster access while reducing distractions and making reporting more efficient.

Add a “Share Suggestion” Button for Easier Voting
A dedicated “Share This Suggestion” or “Share Your Vote” button on idea pages would make the Waze feedback community much more engaging and effective.
At the moment, it’s quite difficult to share a suggestion with friends, family or other Waze users because the post links are not very obvious or easy to access from the search/results page.
A simple share button could:
- Increase community engagement
- Help useful ideas gain visibility faster
- Encourage more voting and discussion
- Make it easier for users to support features they genuinely want

Color Coded Parking Icons
Color coded parking icons! Would be super interesting and helpful to take satellite imagery and user reports to code the "P" icon in green for lots of open spaces, yellow for minimal open spaces, and red for no open spaces. This would be easier for garages where users could specifically report it based on info screens.

Bring More Life & Personality to the Map Interface
It would be great to have optional map interface customization for users who spend many hours driving daily.
For example, offering different visual themes with richer colors, improved road contrast, more expressive lane guidance colors, and customizable map appearance modes (modern, minimal, vivid, classic, etc.).
Many drivers use navigation for long periods and a more customizable visual experience could improve readability, reduce fatigue, and make navigation feel more intuitive depending on driving style and personal preference.

UI Improvement for exiting to parallel/marginal roads (Visual Transition Zone)

I would like to suggest a UI improvement regarding maneuvers where the driver needs to exit a main expressway to enter a parallel/marginal road.
The Problem: Currently, when the route requires leaving the main road for a parallel one, the standard purple route line often blends in with the main road on the map.
