  1. A way to report Gas Stations or EV Stations that are out of service or out of gas

    Normally during storms, people will stock up on gasoline and stores may run out of gas to sell. Having a feature that allows users to report when gas stations are out of gas or EV stations are out of service on the Waze app would be incredibly useful for drivers. Not only would it save time and frustration by allowing drivers to avoid gas stations that are out of service, but it could also help promote safer driving practices.   3. Crime Hazards

    Add additional hazards for crime, such as: aggressive panhandlers, squeegee boys, people doing wheelies or donuts in the middle of the street, street racing, ect. Most people would like to avoid that activity.

  4. Road block

    Please add an impassible object blocking road report and once verified by at least 2 different users please have the app route users around the object for 24 to 48 hours so people aren’t turning around in the street. When objects block the road and the waze app keeps sending people down it it creates problems

    When you report police you should be able to have an icon for rbt and rdt (random breath test and drug test) 100% this would have a massive impact on who uses the app

    When on interstates and highways can you simplify the menu to add broken cars followed by police as quick adds?

  7. User Reporting - initial and more details

    Add an option to email reporting user for more details when creating the report. The long press on report currently gives options for Police, Hazard and Traffic. My suggestion is to add one for 'email me' where the user can provide full details when they are not driving. Navigating to the Report, finding the correct option, before finding the Later option is not safe when you driving.

    As editors, there are a lot of reports with minimal detail. Posting a request for the submitter to provide more details rarely gets a response.

  8. Shortcuts for potholes

    Have an option for customizing buttons on the screen like shortcuts for potholes so you only have to tap once instead of going through menus.

  9. Speed Camera Reports throughout an Average Speed Check Zone

    When I’m alerted that i’m in an average speed check zone, I tend to get notified every 20-30 seconds of a camera as part of that zone. It gets repetitive and quite annoying as I know that I need to remain within that speed limit until i’m notified that I have left the average speed check zone. It’s just a suggestion but would it make more sense if speed camera alerts were removed whilst in an average speed check zone?

  11. Add time for hazard feedback after the hazard has been passed

    Sometimes, you only notice the hazard that was reported until after it has been passed. When you pass the hazard, the feedback box immediately disappears, making it difficult to provide feedback to other drivers. Perhaps it can say "Hazard passed" and then give display that the box is soon to time out?

  12. Add “pedestrians” and “object” to Hazard reports on shoulder.

    1. Add “pedestrian/s to Hazard reports. Often people post warning using “animals”, however, this is quite disrespectful and pedestrian/s are in danger and warning will be great.

    2. Add “Object” to hazard warning. Often branches, trees or other debris on shoulder lane, which are also dangerous.

  13. Add ability to report road closures at railroad crossings

    Currently, you are only able to report road closures at intersections. As we all know, the road closures don't only occur at intersections. It would be nice if we could report a road closure at, let's say, for instance, a railroad crossing. Giving us the ability to report road closures at places other than intersections will allow us to plan our route more accurately and avoid us having to learn about time wasting detours the hard way.

    Please change algorithm for road construction to not automatically clear. I go through multiple areas that are year long construction, but have to enter construction every time through them.

  17. Report Button/Police Reporting

    When I report something the Report button on the bottom right turns to hearts for a second showing 5 points or whatever for reporting but the issue is that I can't quickly report another until that goes away which is particularly annoying when I'm trying to report police in the median who can knab both sides. What I use to do is file my side Police→Hidden/Visible in 2 secs then I'd quickly hit report again and hit Police→Other Side so that the two reports weren't too far off from each other on the map. So getting rid of the hearts…

  18. Mute social notifications

    The new +5 notifications keep interrupting my music and podcasts while driving. There is no setting under push, text, email or reports notifications to turn off the nags. Please let make it clear how to turn off sounds in the app, or at least let us turn off social sounds. Sound is the primary interface to Waze, it is extremely important to keep the signal to noise ratio high... Getting 10 social notifications a minute undermines navigation, alerts and Waze as a whole.

    Dear my WAZE PPL

    First, I want to thank waze for creating such an outstanding navigation tool that helps so many drivers stay informed and safe on the road. I truly appreciate how the app continuously evolves to meet the needs of its users.

    I’d like to suggest a potential improvement to the “Hazards” feature. While the current options, such as “Objects on Road,” are helpful, I believe there’s an opportunity to make the app even more informative and user-friendly by adding an alert specifically for roadkill or deceased animals on the road.
