  1. Emphasize searching by business address during user onboarding.

    As a volunteer editor, I deal with many URs that involve what the user perceives to be "incorrect" address navigation. I frequently find myself advising reporters to search by business name instead of address, because the business PP is generally more accurate than the HN. It would be great if this could be added to the tips that are shown to a new user when they first run the app. I think this would reduce user frustration because they likely expect navigation to the building like in GMaps when they enter an address. They don't realize they are being taken…

  2. recent drives

    So when I choose a saved favorite, it never appears under recent drives. It would be very helpful if it did because I constantly have to scroll through my favorites when looking for this recent drive. Please have all recent drives appear in recent drives, even if they are saved favorites! Love Waze! And thanks!

  4. There are no streets near the destination - Map Problem

    When we have a location registered in Waze or Google and there are no nearby streets that can route the user there, Waze displays the error: Could not locate end point

    My suggestion is that Waze should map Google/Waze locations, identify those that are too far from a street, and create a Map Problem (MP) in the Waze map editor so that we can check whether the street needs to be drawn or whether to simply close the MP as unidentified.

  5. Main menu & saved addresses

    Main menu needs to be redone, so that you can easily access Saved drives. Additionally, need to add the ability to Edit Saved addresses without having to completely delete and then add in the updated address detail.

  7. Hospital as a Category

    Hello! It occurred to me today as I tried to find the quickest route to the nearest emergency room that Waze might want to think about dropping “Drive-thru” from the category screen in favor of “Hospital.” At the very least, maybe users could be given the option to create their own categories?

  9. Why is waze demanding my date of birth?

    Waze displayed a screen demanding my date of birth while I was driving and using it for navigation. This screen cannot be closed and reappears when Waze is restarted. I consider this both an unwarranted invasion of privacy and more importantly HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE of your programmers to make this occur while the app is in use in a moving vehicle. I have used Waze for many years and recommended it to many friends and colleagues. I am now however being forced to stop using Waze unless I comply with this unwarranted data demand.

  10. Establish a Waze instance on Mastodon

    With Twitter (X) becoming more and more unusable as a social media platform, some of us have migrated to other social media platforms to continue communicating about Waze. One such platform is Mastodon, which is part of a defederated network of social media servers that is gaining popularity, particularly among tech folks. If Waze could establish its own Mastodon server, then we could ensure that there is a dedicated space for us to spread the word about Waze, and it could be managed by the same folks that moderate the forums.   11. Upgrade the favourites

    Can you add option that i (as a user) can add a place i want to drive to except "home" and "work"? I prefer a fast access to options like the home option, And not to get into the favourites, its way more easy.

A primeira é a opção de diminuir o brilho do aplicativo, especialmente para carros como o Onix e o Tracker, que não possuem uma função nativa na multimídia para ajustar o brilho. Durante viagens noturnas, o brilho intenso da tela pode ser bastante incômodo. Ter a opção de diminuir o brilho dentro do próprio Waze seria sensacional, especialmente para usuários do modo Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. Aqueles que utilizam o Waze diretamente no celular já podem ajustar o brilho do aparelho.

    Minha segunda ideia é sugerir um modo que…

  17. Manual night mode button

    There needs to be a manual night mode button because on my way to work in the morning when it is still dark out, day mode activates all by itself and is far too bright and I end up having to fiddle with my phone while my car is in motion to make it dim again and that is dangerous.

  18. When you email users make sure that they can reply

    1. Allow us to respond in app. 2. Allow us to respond to your email especially since you are asking a question & you want a response. Duh Fix the map issue in Detroit directions to St. Lazarus Serbian church & hall it takes you to an entrance that has never been used. It's locked & always has been. The entrance is around the corner on Van Dyke.

  20. "Where To Park" UPDATE

    A must-have UPDATE is for businesses to be able to fix the "where to park" feature. We have an orthodontist office and patients are parking 11 minutes away because of this feature. Meanwhile, we have a huge parking lot right at our building.
