Let me set a toll limit.
Let me set a dollar limit for a route. It will find the fastest route including toll roads where the estimated tolls are under the limit. Maybe I could set a $10 limit or $20 limit, for example.
This is especially helpful in the northeast where we have toll bridges - so 99% of the route is toll free, except the bridge. If I toggle toll roads off, I’ll be taken to the ash end of nowhere to find a non-toll bridge. But if I could set a limit, then it will find the fastest route with the lowest tolls…

Group drive function
It would be great to have the ability to add users to your group, then when driving anywhere you add them to your route. When the lead driver makes changes it updates for all in the group. Potentially others in the group track the lead driver, or the destination that is controlled by the lead driver.

Jeg syntes Wasa er den bedste navigator der er lavet, men jeg kunne godt bruge at man kan sætte tid eller afstand til før den forslår en ny rute.Feks. Den først forslår ny rute efter en besparelse af 5-10 eller 15 minutter, eller 5-10 eller 15 kilometer.

Waze offline cache
Feature request: Automatic offline fallback for active navigation
When a user starts a route while connected to the internet, the app should automatically cache enough information to continue that active trip if mobile data is lost.
The phone would still have GPS, so it could continue following the already-calculated route locally without needing live traffic or server-side routing.
Ideally, the app could also cache a small road graph around the route. If the driver misses a turn while offline, a lightweight local routing algorithm such as A* could find a path back to the original route rather than requiring a…

Add an option to always choose the fastest route
Hello,
Waze frequently suggests routes that are not the fastest, even when time-saving alternatives exist.
French Decree No. 2022-1119 of August 3, 2022, which imposed specific rules on navigation assistance services, was annulled by the Council of State on September 27, 2023.
Why does Waze continue to apply criteria that can lead to the exclusion of the truly fastest route?
Please add a clear option—"Always prioritize the fastest route"—that allows the user to select travel time as the sole criterion.
Users should be able to decide for themselves which criterion they wish to prioritize.1 vote -

Destop browser use - not intuitive
I tried using the website waze.com to do a direction search. It had the destination pre-filled (I clicked a link from another website). I tried to enter a start location (City, ST) but the enter key did not save it or trigger an update. When I clicked outside the start field, it disappeared. Totally blank. I just closed the browser and did a search from maps.google.com.

Large Vehicle type
As a wheelchair user I have an XL Base Citroen Van. Currently Waze will suggest routes unsuitable to save time on en-route. Recently I got stuck in the snow following a route change that I trusted but took me on back residential roads. There is an allowance for motorcycle, taxi or private car. Selecting “large vehicle” would exclude low bridges and keep on main roads regardless of time saved. It is a matter of safety.

Traffic Light Timing
Traffic Light Timing
Add a timer showing how much time remains until the green light turns off, as well as how much longer to wait until the next green light.
This information can be calculated relatively easily based on user statistics. For example, if a car passes through a road intersection where there is a traffic light, we can assume that the light is green. If the car stops, we can assume that the light is red, and so on.
Under the right conditions, it may be possible to achieve an accuracy of approximately one second for each traffic light.

Please add an option to choose how early/frequently Waze reminds us about upcoming turns
Option to choose how frequently the waze voice tells to take turns- such as a reminder every 500 meters for highways... Since meters fly there.

Visible and alerts needs to be more visible
The services alerts like police, cameras road work, potholes etc are barely visible if at all.
I would like yo see flashing ui that really alers of the danger.
The current alerts are barely visible.
Also it would be good if there was a ui that allowed us to pick what alerts we want to have a bigger impact on the app, so that we can select which one will display the above ******* (?) alerts and sound

Après l'ajout des feux tricolores sur la carte Waze, ça serait bien plus simple et précis de mettre les significations/panneaux "STOP" sur la carte pour que les utilisateurs Waze sachent où sont les significations/panneaux "STOP" sur la carte afin d'éviter de se prendre des amendes pour avoir grillé le panneau "STOP". Et bien entendu s'il y aura l'ajout, mettre à jour les voix en mettant au début de la phrase avant la prononciation des adresses "Au Stop".

You need to word your communication carefully so we do nto waster our time trying to access a feature that is not fully rolled out.
