Disable Ding sound for 'thanks' notification
The thanks sound is happening often and mutes music and it's very annoying and embarrassing. There is no way to disable the sound. It makes me want to not actually help anyone and just go private off-line.

Allow user to adjust the speed of audio/TTS annoucements (0.5x, 0.8x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x)
Spotify and YouTube allow users to control the speed of audios or videos.
You can play audios or videos at speeds of 0.5x, 0.8x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x and 3x.
I suggest the same should apply to Waze.
Audio or TTS announcements could be faster or slower depending on the user's preferences.

Vehicle on left side of highway
Please add an option to report a vehicle stopped on the LEFT side of the highway. Often a Wazer will report a car on the side of the road, but it’s actually against the left wall and it’s confusing and dangerous.

Bicycle roof racks warning
Add a warning when approaching places such as your home garage to avoid crashing bicycles on roof rack.
The problem is when you are transporting your bikes on your roof rack you sometimes forget they are there.
Maybe Waze users could add places where there is height limitations.

when phone in horizontal mode, better show routes
when phone is horizontal, once can only see the first route option - and not the rest.

Australian voice with street guidance
English and US voices are fine, but I think having an Aussie telling me where to go (!) Would be great.

Preimptive Traffic Notification - Please read it is not just what it seems by headline.
Preemptive traffic notifications! Sounds Alarm, chirp, chime, text w.e. the user selects when normal route would be jammed BEFORE leaving their home/spot. You have the info and capability to recognize patterns in people’s lives. If they leave at 7:30 to get on a bus, subway, truckers cranking up, no matter who it is, Waze could see that their normal route is delayed 2 hours and let them know BEFORE they have left. Think of the possibilists. People with flexible schedules, Truckers, Subway goers… Repeating but flexible route drivers (delivery etc.)… lots of people benefit so much! Even me, because I…

Send photo to report speed camera
Normally when you report a speed camera, it just will send the position and type of camera to WME. It will help to waze editors if users can send a photo of the camera with the report. And also, add posibility to editors communicate with the user who reports to ask more information as a normal report.

Make turnings and exits more clear (Using arrows or different color)
I have missed an exit or taken the wrong exit multiple times with this app. I do not have this problem with google maps. It would be helpful if turnings could be made more prominent, using different colors or an arrow shown on the actual map.

Plan a drive carpool edition
My suggestion is to be able to plan a drive for multiple stops or carpool for the future. Right now, you can plan a drive in the future for one stop, but it would be great to do it for 2 stops.

Car pointer more centered
Especially when in landscape mode, the car pointer is at the very bottom of the screen, what does not allow to have a good view of the roads and surroundings.

Viewing, posting and confirming planned road closures
Viewing, posting and confirming "planned closures" of roads, streets, etc :
1- View on the map "planned closures" at a given future date.
2- View on the map if a given road had a "planned closure" at a given date in the past. (Helpfull to forsee road closures of annual upcoming events)
3- Users Posting of "planned closures", its starting date and end date. Ex: streetsales, festivals, seasonal pedestrian streets, sports (running, cycling),
4- Users Posting the event organizer contact info : email adress
5- Auto-message sent to event organizer email asking for road closure confirmation; with a link to…

Add "Top Tier" as a preferred station choice
"Top Tier" gasoline (Shell, BP, Mobil, etc.) is recommended by both AAA and Consumer Reports as improving the cleanliness of a car's engine and is better for the environment.
Please make a preferred gas station option that shows all nearby Top Tier-certified fuel stations for those of us that want to take the best care of our engines (and the environment)!

Differentiate between toll roads and toll bridges
I drive solo in Seattle. I have three options into Seattle from the North: - I -405 (with a toll bridge - 525- across the lake) or 1-405 (with a non toll bridge - via 1-90) and then I-5 with no tolls at all.
Can we have an option for WAZ to differentiate between toll roads and toll bridges - this is because I can still drive the "regular" road on the 1-405 and then take the toll bridge (525) into Seattle, but I don't want WAZ to figure the time for the HOV/T lane...aaaaagh, does that make any sense?…

highway wrong direction car alert
it could be useful to add an alert to inform other wazers that a car is driving in wrong direction (very useful for the Highways). The alert will blink to any wazer smartphone display that is driving that way before the alert point.
This feature could permit alerted drivers to mantain the right lane till the end of the emergency.11 votes -
Speed limit/autovelox notification when screen off
It would be great to have a speed limit notification and autovelox with a big pop up (like the speed limit signal 50 km/h) even when the screen is off. Often when the smartphone is connected with bluetooth I cannot hear the speed limit alarm. I'll be always aware of the speed limit and autovelox on my route saving battery!
