Interchange guidance method in ver. 2.2 is wrong. Revert to 2.0 method.
In version 2.2 (Android & iPhone) the written guidance in interchanges was changed. It tries to look-ahead and gives guidance based on the ramp exiting the interchange.
This is inconsistent with the way guidance worked in version 2.0 and therefore inconsistent with the ramp's naming in the Waze map. It leads to confusing guidance that does not match the actual road signs.
This is really dangerous as it increases drivers' confusion in the interchange.
Please revert the guidance method to the way it was in version 2.0For details see http://www.waze.co.il/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=9996&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=15#p59430 (in Hebrew)

Location and type of landmark in search results
For easier identification of a landmark, it could be great, to know the settlement or road which is near it and the type of the landmark, after the name of the landmark, like this:

Add user report confirmation/cancelation buttons for all events
Add user report confirmation/cancelation buttons for all events, similar to "police/not here". This would allow to refresh the reports in the map by other drivers, provide more 'live' info + quicker cancellation of outdated events.

use Android API for event buttons and text input
to report traffic/event irrelevancy it is darn hard to hit that tiny round button with a caret (>) at the end of the event item. instead I should be able to use a long press on a much broader list item to pop up the menu. also, the menu that pops up ought to be from the API. it would create bigger buttons (better for touch sensitive devices) and makes for a much more consistent device use experience plus it would make it more accessible while driving. More accessible means less accidents.
also text input. there seems to be no way to correct typos a few chars back without using backspace. In Android API text inputs users can easily use the navigation buttons/trackball to scroll to the place of mistake and make a MUCH quicker edit.

Audible Speed Camera Alerts
Waze does not always capture temporary reductions in speed limits, and therefore AUDIBLE speed camera alerts are based on original speed limits. Eg. on a 70mph motorway if the speed has been reduced to 50, Speed Camera alert sound is available only if you are speeding over 70. In this case if the driver is speeding above 50 but less than 70 he will not hear the speed camera alert. Alerts displayed (without sound) not always captures the attention of the driver. Hence, it is goof to include an option to have sound on for speed camera alerts irrespective of the speed. This option is available in Tom Tom.

Copilot feature
I have a suggestion that I think would be excellent and differentiating from other applications. This is a functionality that could be called "Copilot", and that allows a device with a Waze account to establish a new destination to a different device. For example, I have Waze on my device while I'm driving, and my wife can set a new destination for me from her own device without having to touch mine, for that reason I thought the function could be called "Copilot".
This same functionality would also be very useful when navigating with CarPlay, so that I can continue focusing on driving while my co-driver is in charge of searching for and setting a new destination en route, such as an en route gas station, place to eat or visit, etc. And without me as the driver having to touch anything, a new destination or stop will automatically be established in my Waze.

Display destination on screen during navigation
Lately, I have repeatedly run into situations where, after driving for 1-2 hours, I have doubts whether I have selected the right destination. To be able to check this, I have to interrupt the navigation. This usually causes distractions while driving.
My suggestion is to introduce a display of the current destination above the estimated travel time field. This feature would be especially beneficial when using the Apple CarPlay integration. It would help users like me to always keep the desired destination in view, thus eliminating the dangerous interruptions during the drive.11 votes -
Report roads as closed whilst using android auto
Add the ability to report road closures on android auto, without this it prevents the app from performing its primary function of proving the best route as closed roads go unreported and people have to find their own diversion around a closed road.

Block a turn only to myself.
A single segment makes my daily travel to work and son therapy only 1-2 minutes shorter, but through a neighborhood I avoid because it's full of turns and bad pavement. I wish I could make that single turn red on the WME but only for me so Waze can route me to any other route it sees better for me.

Add new saved place
Adding new saved place works horribly. This feature should be available on long tap, as context menu. Now one has to search place by name, but guess what, not all places are available by name.Google maps implements this feature very nicely. Saved places should by displayable on the map. As a general idea, the UI looks very crippled compare to Google maps.
