Multi-day future planned routes + Weather condition integration & notifications coinciding with future route planning
It would be helpful if Waze allowed for planned routes that are regularly occurring to be set e.g. (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm). As well as a notification if there are any weather conditions that may affect that planned commute. If so, a general recommendation of what time to leave to allow for possible traffic build up in order to arrive on time. Essentially it would require weather integration, possibly AccuWeather.

Bigger buttons for CarPlay
Car Play - instead of tiny buttons and lines for the report an issue, bigger touch targets would be good. Instead of a scrolling list, a grid with taller, more square touch targets would be good

Add a "hazard" or lone category to report panhandling
Can we add a feature to report panhandling at corners to other drivers? There are a ton of aggressive panhandlers and reporting them will allow people to take precautions because I've seen many lash out at drivers who do not give.

prioritize search results in the direction of travel.
When traveling long road trips, it there some way to prioritize searches only in the direction of travel? In the current setup When looking for restaurants, or shopping, it never fails, Waze is constantly trying to send me backwards 5, 10 or 20 miles behind me to get to something, I would prefer to have it only look ahead, even if its 40 or 50 miles ahead of me along my travel route, and not have to turn around and go back 10 miles for a business. Or at least give me the option to prioritize the business ahead of me before showing me what I've already passed.

CarPlay directions box option to hide?
Firstly might be useful to a CarPlay area in drop down box above?
As you can have directions listed on your iPhone whilst using CarPlay / you might know the basic route it would be great to be able to optionally hide the Directions box as it takes so much map real estate. Or maybe move to top left. It always seems top right is where I am going....

Accident Tracking - High Risk Areas
Use reports by fellow Wazers to track and show areas on the map where multiple accidents have been reported so as to indicate them as "high risk areas" where drivers should be extra cautious. There are a variety of reasons that accidents and wrecks occur but after tracking them for some time, trends could easily be seen and indicated on any device.

Fix Waze for apple car play w Audi a4
Fix waze w car play. With latest apple update waze with car play wipes out steering wheel map. Phone only shows directions and can’t report accidents backups police or anything. Waze map only shows up on center screen

Historic Markers - Option to listen to the text of nearby markers
As a Waze user, I would like the ability to enable an option to display and/or listen to the text of nearby Historic Markers so that I can learn about historic places during my travels. Many times there is no place to pull over and read historic markers.

Waze protect people on road
Hello my idea could safe people's life and make some extra profit for Waze.
Imagine you are cyclist, runner, wolker or group of cyclist with kids or etc.
You open Waze app choose ''protect mode'' option and select who you are. Then everyone who will driving on the same road will have an alert to slow down because you are ahead.I know that almost every new car has safety systems, but no one can see behind the corner.
Waze can sell and provide these live data to other companies like Volvo, Mercedes, Audi, BMW and they can implement them in to their own system because they already has the app who almost everyone know and software what they can use.
Waze already has the software to create it. And I will be very happy to find it in the close future. It could safe many lives. There are so many narrow roads without sidewalks.
Please create this add and make roads more safe for other people than just drivers.

How to increase pedestrians and cyclists safety
By defining new Waze modes of operation, the central computer could get the location of any pedestrian or cyclist connected to the Waze application.
The following safety features could be specially helpful when the weather is misty or rainy:
The central computer could derive that a pedestrian is crossing a wide road and could inform the near by vehicle drivers. As a result the driver will slow down.
When driving on a narrow road, any car driver could be warned that he is approaching of a walking pedestrian or of a bicycle rider rolling on the road. This will be helpful on a road with many curves.
To prevent pedestrians to look on their smartphone screen when crossing a road, the application should set the screen to black and write a message:” Be Careful ! You are crossing a road”.
Add on the Waze application screen a flashing mark with the location of each emergency vehicle located within the area displayed on the screen and the direction of its progression. Activate a warning (visual, audio and vibrating) if an emergency vehicle is approaching. This will help any person listening music loudly via his earphones, or a deaf person to get warned.How to increase pedestrians and cyclists safety

Electrical Map in Puerto Rico will attract millions users
Adding and Electrical Map, will give Waze a millions of users!
Since Hurricane Maria, hundreds of roads and bridges where destroyed, signs that does not exist anymore, and roads with a mile of holes. Lately it is so dificult to drive on some roads. Specially those without electricuty jet, 7 month later of hurricane Maria.
Letting people tag place without electricity, not only give the driver the alert, but will atract a thousand, even million ppl in the island, to repport their house or street.
Also with a so worldwide use app, will make pressure on local agencies to accelerate process of reconnecting the electricity.
And waze will have the attention they are looking in the island.

Zoom - integrated car displays (Android Auto)
The zoom functionality is awful currently when using Android Auto with an in-car display. Google maps allows easy zooming using the rotatable knob (identical and in line with volume on a VW). Can this become a feature for Waze?? It's so distracting and dangerous trying to zoom when driving, a quick turn either way (like Google maps has) will be much better.

PLEASE limit the number of fog alerts! I can SEE that it's foggy...I don't need to be alerted it's foggy EVERY minute on my hour drive!
PLEASE limit the number of fog alerts! I can SEE that it's foggy...I don't need to be alerted it's foggy at all let alone EVERY minute on my hour long commute to work! It was SO annoying...literally every minute I was getting the "warning fog reported ahead" over and over and over. Ideally, get rid of the fog alert option altogether so there are none at all! If it's foggy enough to be alerted about it 0.4 miles away, it's already foggy where you're driving! Fog spreads out!

ETA and arrival notification
Sharing my ETA with family and friends is wonderful. Can you give those people I share ETA with a notification when I arrive at my location? My mom really likes the real time. When I arrived after midnight she saw I was close before she went to bed, but when she woke up she couldn't tell that I made it safely.

METEO LUNGO IL PERCORSO E NELL'INDIRIZZO DI DESTINAZIONE
dovete mettere anche il Meteo lungo il percorso! Consumerebbe un sacco di dati, ram e batteria, però sarebbe favoloso, poter vedere il meteo nella città destinataria e magari in quelle vicine dettate dalla mappa.

ezpass only roads (I-66 VA)
Waze should pop up a warning to tell users you MUST have an EZPass to use this road. This is a new issue that applies to I-66 in northern Virginia between I-495 (beltway) and DC. Effective Monday, December 4, 2017 this critical highway in the DC area used by many out of state folks, tourists and business folks alike, you must have an EZPass to get on this road. The tolls are dynamic during rush hour and have no price cap. Tolls can be $40 or more. Waze should warn drivers of this. Given the complexity of the tolling program www.66expresslanes.org this could be a real change to Waze programmers.
