More police icons
I would like to see a feature where when a police is located you can have an option to say if it’s an RBT or mobile speed camera ect… have an option to say what police are there instead of just a police icon.

LOST OF RECORDING VOICE
I lost the voce recording of my son who made 7 years ago. Waze carried out an update, I shared the voice with another person so as not to lose it, the other person received the voice, put it to work and when I deleted it from my cell phone to try to make it work again on my device it no longer appeared. Even with this sharing link I lost it. An irreparable loss as we have been using this recording all the time for seven years.

Reverse route ahead of time
I would like to be able to plan a reverse route ahead of time. This way I will have an idea in advance when I should be leaving my destination to come back home.

Display addresses (street + house number) according to regional settings
The app assumes wrongly all countries display addresses like Americans do, like first the house number and then the street number, but in fact most Western countries use it the other way around:
Street name + house number
It seems Waze is American-centred as there is strangely enough after all these years no option to simply adhere to the local customs a country has.

Hospital as a Category
Hello! It occurred to me today as I tried to find the quickest route to the nearest emergency room that Waze might want to think about dropping “Drive-thru” from the category screen in favor of “Hospital.” At the very least, maybe users could be given the option to create their own categories?

New Alternate Routes requires too much attention
Firstly, I was unable to find the alternate routes option the first time I used the latest update. The screen was unfamiliar, and in the moment, while driving, it’s not a great time to discover new design choices. I would have appreciated an in-app notification or walkthrough showing the update before embarking on my drive.
Secondly, I’m not yet a fan of the redesign. The x-minutes slower/faster is a bit cumbersome, requiring that I do mental math to determine when I’ll arrive based on the route option.
Third, needing to swipe across the screen to see the detailed info requires…

Deleting old routes efficiently
I would like to delete routes I no longer need with only two or three moves. Similar to deleting messages in the inbox.

New different possible routes interface now not user friendly
The previous way to recheck the possible different routes was way more user friendly. When the options were in list form, with one glance we could see the different possibilities and as well as details for each of those routes. With the new format we only see time to destination and no other info. Please go back to the old format. Change is not always for the better.

New option to “add next” addition to “add stop”
Today, we can add a stop before the final destination. Why not all so an option to add a next destination after we arrive at the first destination?

jetAudio music app
Ad jetAudio as music player on iOS. It's light years ahead of Apple -and Spotify music. Has tons of features and does not require internet connection especially where there is no internet connection in Africa.

SKUNKED
Aligned with the roadkill alert option, give an alert for “skunked“ to give drivers a heads up for dead skunks ahead, so they may set there Vehicle air to recirculate and hopes of not bringing in much of that smelling! 😉

The shortest route in terms of time should take account of a reduced speed compared with the maximum speed
My employer wants me to drive with a reduced speed below the speed limits :
- 110 km/h on roads limited to 130 km/h
- 100 km/h on roads limited to 110 km/h.
I can't set those maximum speeds into the Waze settings.
The path with the shortest time depends on the maximal speed a vehicle has on each type of road.4 votes -
