Train locations in cities with grade crossings should be tracked and reportable as they make a route longer and not ideal.
Train positions of trains and rapid transit at grade crossings should be available in route calculation as they change an ideal route into a not ideal route, and user reports for train locations should be available.

What hallened to the part of the waze map route that say click here for the best time to leave? It doesn't give that option anymore. Why not? I use to be able to click on my route & get a better time to leave & waze would notify me when it's time to leave. It does not do that anymore & I dont know why. It all changed & not for the better in my opinion. Please put that option back. Thank you

Be able to interface from your phone like Apple iPhone
I really like your app and use it every day. My frustration is that I use a Samsung Android smart phone (I am not a fan of Apple iPhone's). Apple play works very well with your app. You can control your app from the phone or the car interface (basically the car mirrors the phone). With Android play you can't control the app or view the app from your phone. All interfaces have to be on the car not the phone. Secondly if you use the app now on the car navigation screen (as I said) you can only control the app from the car and it is limited. My biggest problem is you can't drop down the future turns. On the phone if you click on the next turn, the whole trip drops down. If you try to drop down on the Android app screen, you can't get to the next turn and no way to drop down (please see attached pictures). Extremely frustrating. I use that function all the time. I'm forced to use my phone for Waze and the small screen vs the large screen in the car. I'm currently driving a 2023 Acura MDX. Please advise any solutions or if you are making any changes. Why does it work on Apple and not Android.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Consider making UI change so Hazard reporting is faster and requires less scrolling
Make faster Hazard reporting by reducing scrolling. Make choices by a Tile interface so driver doesn't have to scroll so much. Touch screens are variable in their scrolling. Would be simpler.
3 votesHey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

Please make There/Not There notice different distinctive colours
Make it easier and faster to respond to hazard alerts. Less distraction for driver to respond. Safer.

Vehicle icon idea
I think for the Star Wars fans out there, you should make a YT-1300 Light Freighter as a car icon. You should be able to avoid the potential issue with Disney if you call it by it’s ship model and not the iconic name Millennium Falcon. Would be a great thing to offer for May the 4th be with you.

Shutdown dialog no longer shows up on first back button or swipe back
Android: Waze used to always show the shutdown dialog box when the back button was pressed or swiped back. Now if I launch Waze and then swipe back, it will go to my home screen and continue running. The behavior is the same if I am already navigating to a destination. Once I return to the home screen, if I open Waze again and then swipe back, it will show the dialog box. Please re-enable the dialog anytime a back swipe is issued. Thanks!

Show the length (km.) On the mape of alternative routes
Pls add the length in k.m. of the alternative routes on the map. Now only time is displayed. Sometimes I do prefer a shorter rout because the diffrence in time is minor.

add mood for Nepal
Would you add a mood for Nepal? If you would, I would suggest you to add a waving flag with Dhaka Topi. For your information, Dhaka Topi represents Nepali symbol.

filter search results
I suggested this back in May, but it's not got any traction so I'm suggesting it again because I really need this to be done:
PLEASE add the ability to filter/block search results!
I lose a lot of time because I have to keep plugging in the entire address in order to find the one that's twenty minutes away.
If I don't, there is a real possibility that I'll end up driving to the United States because those results always seem to come up first.
I NEVER - I repeat: "NEVER!" - will be driving in the United States, especially when i'm working.
The number of times I've half-assedly plugged in an address and, an hour later, found myself wondering why it's taking so long only to discover I'm on my way to Thunder Bay or New Jersey instead of Milton or Vaughan is ridiculous.
Any dev should be able to look at my user account and see exactly how many hours a day Waze is up and active, so this is a real issue.

Opcional mostrar nombre de calle
Que sea opcional, mostrar las banderas de nombre de calle, ya que crea confusión con la ruta seguida, porque ambas son del mismo color.

Incident pop ups
The pop up incidents are blocking the turn by turn making me miss exits on freeways. Can you move them to lower right side of screen so they don’t block the turn by turn on upper left side of screen? Plus they stay on screen WAY TOO LONG. It’s a bit distracting for the driver.

More voice warning before freeway exits, regardless of speed
I noticed that the location of the voice instruction you hear before a freeway exit varies based on how fast you're going.
Around 100 km/h, you get the voice instruction 1.5 kilometres before your exit.
Around 80 km/h, you get the voice warning about 1 km before the exit.
Around 60 km/h, you get the warning just 300 metres before the exit. It's the last one that I think is a problem. Some drivers rely mostly on the voice instructions either because we don't have a phone stand or because of restrictive laws regarding phone use while driving. And if you're on a freeway that has, say, 5 or more lanes, then regardless of what speed you're going at, 300 metres of warning before the exit simply isn't enough. The driver might suddenly have to dart across 5 or more lanes in 300 metres just to make their exit, and that's far too dangerous.
Even at lower speeds, especially for roads with many lanes, such as freeways, Waze voice instructions should give greater warning before the next turn or exit - e.g. 1 or 1.5 km in advance, like we already get at higher speeds.
