Avoid 70mph Roads
When driving to a location on holiday I often try to AVOID motorways so the journey is more interesting and I pass through areas I haven't seen before. However, 70mph dual carriageways are NOT seen as a motorway, so sat navs (including Waze) with often navigate you onto one. Rather than choose AVOID motorways in settings, the option to "AVOID 70mph Roads" would be much better.

Depuis plusieurs années, nous essayons de battre des records de kilométrage par plein de carburant avec les mêmes véhicules.
Nous disposons de 4 voitures. Chacune est attribuées à une seule personne.Ce cercle vertueux permet et/ou motive :
- faire des économies de consommation de carburant,
- réduire la diffusion de CO2 par plein,
- battre sont record de kilomètre par plein,
- économise le maximum d'émission de CO2 par plein,
- cela peut faire rouler les conducteurs au maximum de la vitesse réglementaire (logique vous pensez... mais l'ensemble des conducteurs roulent au-dessus).
- voir même, faire rouler 5 à 10 km/h moins vite que la vitesse réglementaire pour permettre de faire plus de kilomètres avec la même quantité de carburant._SUGGESTIONS
- Pensez-vous possible d'ajouter une option qui calcul la différence de diffusion de carbone lorsque le véhicule roule?
Un compteur s'affiche (si option sélectionnée) sur l'écran de navigation et indique les économies ou la majoration de diffusion de co2 en rapport avec la vitesse réglementaire et la vitesse roulé._UTILISATION
Lors de l'ajout d'une voiture attribué au profil, il faudrait indiquer le volume du réservoir ainsi que l'empreinte carbone pour 100km. L'information existe chez tous les constructeurs de voiture. Le calcul est donc simple à faire lorsque les données sont renseignées.
https://www.compteco2.com/article/le-bilan-carbone-de-ma-voitureL'utilisateur appuis sur un bouton qui enregistre le jour et l'heure du plein ou bien, le nombre de litre ajouté dans le réservoir pour une remise à zéro du compteur de calcul.
L'option sait ainsi le nombre de kilomètres parcourus avec le réservoir. Cette information est conservé par Waze.
L'enregistrement régulier de remise à zéro par l'utilisateur, permet de conserver le nombre de kilomètres parcourus à chaque plein de carburant.
Plus l'utilisateur limite la diffusion de CO2 par plein, plus sont score augmente.
Tout comme les "humeurs", il pourrait être ajouter des icones permettant des "grades" vertueux d'économie de carburant ou encore, si vous êtes "écolo", des grades pour la quantité de carbone économisé._INTERETS POUR WAZE
Pour que cette fonction soit efficace, il faut que l'utilisateur soit connecté à chaque trajet (petit et grand), de façon à ce que tous kilomètres roulés soient pris en compte.
L'utilisation de l'application est plus importante.
Waze disposerai de données supplémentaires par utilisateur, sa consommation de carburant et son empreinte carbone émise. Il est facile d'imaginer comment transformer les informations...Merci pour votre retour,

Bonjour, tout d’abord merci et bravo pour votre application. Je pense simplement qu’il serait plus efficace que le bouton signalant par exemple qu’un élément est encore sur le côté de la route ne disparaisse pas juste après pour laisser le temps de confirmer ou d’infirmer.

I want to point outthat vehicle type setting can potentially miscalculate traffic flows. A few days back, during heavy rain, waze was showing the route to be congested, when in fact traffic was smooth flowing, albeit at a slightly slower speed due to heavy rain showers.
In Malaysia, when it rains, motor cyclists take shelter under flyovers and bridges. Therefore, if their waze was on, it would make your app think traffic is at a standstill.
Another issue with motorcycles is, in Malaysia, Lane Splitting is not an offence, and most times, during slow traffic, motorcyclists travel at much higher speeds in between lanes!! This would create inaccuracies in traffic assessments on particular stretches of roads.
Maybe the Waze app should have a symbol to indicate vehicle type prominently and allow users to change the type easily. Some people use motorcycles as well as cars, but normally just one phone!!

Reporting dirt or dust on the shoulder
After strong rains, it is common here in Brazil to see slopes partially falling into the road so that the shoulder is full of dirt, debris or sand. It would be nice if we could report that there is dirt on the shoulder. This is very dangerous (mainly for motorcycles).

Go routes based on my history like if i go a lot of back streets have thsi as options show all routes possible to this place im going an let me choose an ways I’d possibly like to go would make a lot better an save ways I like to drive so can just go this way instead of have maps say wrong way or missed turn or u turn or anything like that an also tell us what lanes to be in an how many streets till turn

Allow for emergency drivers to configure routing to ignore restricted roads/signs which they have a legal exemption for decreasing response times to those in need!

Please work out the sorry something went wrong that happens 9 out of the 10 times I try to use the leave later function. It is vexing to have a feature that is so helpful be so unreliable. This is regardless of which network I am on

Option Police
I would like to present here my dissatisfaction with your option regarding the presence of the police, I think that this option should be changed, for example by mobile radar information, and the reason is the following, every time we report the presence of police on the road or in stop operations, we are being "accomplices" with the trafficking of drugs, weapons, human beings, stolen cars, etc. this information is precious for those who commit this type of crime. "Pause spoken audio" cannot be turned off
Even with the "Pause spoken audio" off, Waze continue to pause the Apple Podcast app.
Worst, the pause mechanism is not great because it makes me miss a few seconds of podcast at each alert forcing me to rewind.I created a voice with small airplane chimes to get alerts and not missing a turn without having full spoken directions (especially for commute where I know the directions).
The chimes are so small and unintrusive that I prefer to have them played over my music/podcast.Being able to NOT pause the podcast is therefore important.
Said otherwise: If you give the option in the settings, make that option work ;-)

Display number on screen
The number of your destination should display on the screen as well as the street name.
At the moment only the street name is displayed with no number2 votes -

Ask for rating and feedback at the end of journeys like Google Maps does
After finishing each journey, there should be a prompt to rate the journey in the scale of sad faces or smiley faces like Google Maps does at the end of journeys.
Far too many times Waze re-routes to save a few minutes but takes you down through the tightest narrowest roads possible.
In London, UK roads can either be a breeze or they can be like driving through a maze with all the small tight roads meant for one way traffic but is actually used for two way traffic.
Then please implement the feedback and ratings to show routes where roads are big and easier to drive through.

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
